Hmm I just don't know if I want to predict Nate by guillotine or triangle...

I think that whilst DHK is not an explosive fighter, and lacks finishing power, he is great at controlling his opponents enough to earn points from the judges. The only thing he'd really have to worry about is getting caught in a sub from Diaz's guard. But I really, really hope he wipes the cocky smile off of Diaz' face.

Let's not gloss over that Diaz's last two wins came against a seriously one dimensional striker in Davis who's best days are behind him and a guy in Markham, who was nearly ten pounds overweight and basically cut before the fight. Kym's got tonnes of refinement to his game and won't get lobbed into a brawl with the slapstriker in Diaz. His overall fighting is evolving at a great pace and from the Brown fight onward has progressively gotten more and more technical with glorious balance and timing and is just too solid for Diaz I believe.

One thing your leaving out is that while Diaz may have fought two guys who aren't in the upper eschelon of the ww division, he did dispose of them the way a guy who is on another level should. DYK on the other hand lost to Karo then had that lopsided win against Sadollah...That doesn't impress me too much. His win may have been lopsided but Sadollah is nothing but a striker. Everyone knew what was going happen. Diaz on the other hand wrecked Markham and absoltely dominated Davis in every aspect. Especially stand up. Marcus may be declining but the guy has solid hands and movement. Diaz completely took him out of his game and beat the shit out of him everywhere. I see Diaz frustrating and peppering Stun Gun on his feet and when it eventually gets to the ground...Diaz is just sick...He has killer instinct with his jj like no one else. DYK's a grinder but I don't see someone like him eeking one out on Diaz. Not many people including my self are fans of Diaz and his antics but he has a true fighting spirit and some sick ass jj and an evolving stand up game to go with it. Diaz by whatever the hell he wants when it gets to the ground imo.

Dong as Nates opponent doesn't nearly satisfy me when it comes to hoping Nate is going to get his teeth knocked across the canvas.

But I still hope Dong can give Nate a loss, and I believe he will, as long as he sticks to the grappling.
