I think most fighters would fight in the UFC if given a choice. Unfortunately the UFC just doesn't have the room to offer fighters alot of fights every year, and it's the most cut throat org in the world. If you get injured, then you may have to wait 9 months to a year to get another fight. With strikeforce you can go fight in Dream, maybe bellator, or somewhere else and make some money. Their are pros and cons with both. But the UFC is the most well marketed and has what's considered to be the "best" fighters. Of course once again, this is based marketing, so it's all academic, just the way Dana wants it to remain.

This should send a message to Coker, but I dont think it will.
When you have champs, like Shields and now Jacare trying or have jumped ship, you need to wake up. COKER WILL BE THE END OF SF IMO. If he cant figure out how to keep his fighters happy they will all leave, and he will be stuck with unknown fighters.
We already know that Coker and SF dont hype or market thier fighters, so if/when all of the "named guys" jump ship he will be stuck trying to figure out how to hype a title fight with unknown fighters. At that point, SF will become a B league org to the UFC, WEC, and the up and coming Bellator

Totally agree man. On a side note I really have high hopes for Bellator, they are a true independent MMA promotion. They work with what they have and don't try and pretend to be what they're not (Strikefarce trying to make people belive they're the best org in town). They simply go out and put on a fantastic show and don't shove promo adds down your throat to make you think they're the best thing since sliced bread. They let the fights speak for the organization. Great production, decent annoucing, entertaining fights.

I really hope Bellator stays around for a long time and continues to grow.

wow imagine the fights for him at a MW in the UFC.. Maia,Belfort,Silva,Wandy, Palhares, Marquardt, all would be like dream matches hell even shields would be amazing.
