My personal favorite was Bushido 9. It was a great 4 hour PPV for only $25. It had the 1st 2 rounds of 2 GPs and some good non tourney fights. This is the event that gave us Gomi/Kawajiri, Gomi/Azeredo II, Pulver/Sakurai, Hansen/Edwards, Hansen/Sakurai, 2 great Hendo KOs and other good match-ups. Definitely my most memorable and favorite event.

I'm old so I would have to say UFC 1. I was like 19 at the time and one of my buddies got the ppv. I just remember thinking, HOLY SHIT, are they really letting these guys do this to each other?

I couldnt wait for the next one. Back then it was almost like you were watching faces of death... because of the controvercy associated with it.

Jeez you guys are older then me. I was stoked, I remember thinking " all right, these wrestlers are going to fuck up these guys." Needless to say I never had heard of BJJ at that point.

i agree, any one who was there to see ufc 1 when it first happened will see that as a memeroble event, it was so cool i went out and bought the vhs......of coarse i watched it so many times the tape is long since been watchable
