I dont like at all Frankie "The answer" Edgar.
Unless you are some intelectual nerd I dont think you would love to have a nick name like "answer".
Also, Brandon "The truth" Vera, its nonsense, the truth of what???
The best one is not official, but for Brock Lesnar it suits perfectly, it consists of 2 words, and the second one is chestnar, the first one begins with C.

I don't think there is much argument here, J-Lau and Kenflo have to be the worst nick names.
Edit: I still like Creepy Joe better than J-Lau

So many wicked nicknames, I like "Fancy Pants" Beerbohm, "Hellboy" Hansen, "Streetfight Bancho" Takaya, "Awesomely Awesome" Audinwood. "Semtex" Daley is a good one, "The Road Warrior" Goulet is a good one. Although kinda racist, I like Antonio "Mandingo" McKee...at least it's creative. Jorge "El Conquistador" Rivera kinda creative.
There are couple Brazilian one's I don't get, like "JZ" Cavalcante (there is no J or Z in his name and I don't know if he's a Jay-Z fan) Another one is Andre "Dida" Amade (which translates to extent according to one website...google doesn't translate it at all) Or Yoshiyuki "Zenko" Yoshida....no clue what a Zenko is.
Never understood Dennis "Superman" Hallman as a nickname. Jacob "Christmas" Volkmann is a dumb one....according to wikipedia - Quote: |

Some fighters should change their nickname,....or update it. Like Chris "The Westside Strangler" Brennan who has just 6 choke submissions in 32 fights (mind you in his first 4, he choked 3)
Never liked Frank "Twinkle Toes" Trigg as a nickname.
Some people's nickname's just stick, like Jose "Pele" Landi-Jons, who I think was named Pele, because he is one of the original Brazilian black fighters...I guess he kinda looks like him....but not really.

I hate that having a nickname is practically required in this sport... it forces people to come up with stupid nicknames. I personally hate any nickname that is more than one word. two-word nicknames sometimes work, but I just can't stand stupid nicknames like "The world's most dangerous man" etc. I also don't like "The barn cat" (even though I think it's kind of funny... reminds me of the junkyard cat from It's Always Sunny), or "Sugar" Rashad (unoriginal). My favorite is probably "Semtex".
