Tito would turn a knockout win over Chuck into a circus, and of course he'd then go on to say that Chuck's two wins over him were flukes.

Both guys are still under UFC contract, (although Dana says Chuck will never fight in the UFC again) what will the UFC do with the 2 of them? Let them sit and collect dusk? Give them tickets to show up at fan Expos and all that?
| I don't understand what collecting sunsets has to do with anything. Chuck's contract doesn't have any more fights on it, I don't think but I could be wrong. What to do with them? Easy. Chuck retires and does promotional appearances, Tito keeps going and tries to reclaim former glory. Like I said before, he claims he is healthy now let's see him back up the talk.
All told, I just think that Tito is looking for a big payday. Both fighters would receive well over $200,000 each for the fight.

First of all Mat Hamill is hardly the toughest fight of Tito's career, come on! And that does suck that Chuck wont get a crack at Tito. Maybe theres hope for a Chuck vs. Tito 3 on Strikeforce. I'd still pay to see Chuck fight.

Whilst it would be a great fight (mostly because of the inevitable trash talking and huge pre-fight build up), I just don't like seeing Liddell get KO'd. I'd rather think 'what if' than see him KO'd another time.

Especially right now. Tito needs an impressive win, preferably a stoppage of some sort. With all the pinching pennies the UFC has done recently in letting fighters go, its hard to imagine them putting up with another Ortiz loss. Toughest fight? Nah.. Most important? Right now, yes.

This fight would a different version of Ortiz v. Shamrock. Meh... Not really interested. I'd rather see Liddell against a game, higher tier opponent or just leave for Strikeforce and reign as king there.

I'm honestly glad that it's not happening. I love Chuck and he needs to retire. Like someone said if Tito did beat him it would be a travesty. Might as will quit while he's ahead in that department and not further tarnish his legacy.

Dana doesn't want to put the fight together because he doesn't know what he would do if Chuck won. Chuck would be at the bottom of the ladder even if he won and Tito would be even lower.
