Look at the vast group of respectful and humble men that have done well and are huge draws, GSP, Randy, Nog, and so on. Put your head down and work hard, no need to trash talk, come out and let the fighting do the talking.

The author of the artical says that cain is the type of guy you would want to work with but not a sexy sell for a title contender, Thats bullshit.
Forget for a moment that he has mexican heritage, he is still undefeated, still a very tallented wrestler, still very fast with his hands and getting better, and he is going to be aggressive and put together combonations that poses a very real threat to brock. If thats not a sexy sell for a title contender i dont know what is.

I just don't see the need for the ignorant and brash style of fight hyping that comes from brock in MMA, have some respect

It's no secret the UFC has been working on the Spanish market. Cain isn't a marketing bomb shell like Brock has been, but Brock doesn't like doing any marketing between matches. He lives off of his WWF day's IMO.

We've already been down the reversal angle about white pride, racial double-standard, etc. so I'll resist the temptation to go down that road again. I will say that personally, I dont like the whole "1st Mexican blah blah blah" promotion. But I guess you have to have an angle in building/promoting a fan base in this ppv for Cain Velasquez other than his talents. That being said, I hope Brock absolutely totally destroys Cain.

Completely agree. All I have to say, is that the UFC is lucky that Cain is "brown" and not "white" or the tattoo might not be seen in such a "positive light". I can't believe I am actually hoping for Brock in a fight. But hope Junior Dos Santos smashes the winner.

How about this for a theory?

If Cain Velasquez wins the Heavyweight belt, perhaps his first title defense can coincide with the first ever UFC event in Mexico City. It would be a HUGE event, an easy sellout, and Tito Ortiz could be in the co-main event.

I'm pretty sure you could get a damn good burrito after the fights, too.

There is a direct correlation between Boxing/UFC fights and a lower beheading rate by cartels..
