That is the attitude of a professional. | Really? So Shogun is NOT a professional now because the only two people he says he will NOT fight are his brother and Wandy? Let's be consistent.

maybe jones doesnt wannna fight him because he doesnt feel like having to beat a guy who's sole intention is to not get knocked out and squeeze out a decision!
but seriously jones is really getting annoying he's slowly making his way out of my top 5 favorite fighters.
shogun not fighting wandy is so much different then this there never really was a situation where that came about in pride and they really were enver title contenders at the same time in either the ufc or pride.
this is fucking retarded because they are two of the top in the division. grow a pair jones maybe the reason you wont fight rashad is because you dont want to have a boner and have it broadcast to millions of people.

anyways, I love how Carlos Condit said he'd fight GSP. Now, Condit hasn't been at Jackson's all that long but honestly, neither has Jon Jones | Condit is a professional and is keeping his eye on the prize. He doesnt let shit get personal. Business is business and for some reason others dont have the sack to see it for what it is. Does not mean they cant still be teammates. Pre-madonnas.

He said when Shogun and Wand both entered the Grand Prix they were WILLING to fight each other and since they were willing to fight each other they displayed the attitude of a professional.

Aside from that all the hate for Jones saying he won't fight Evans is ridiculous. Its not like they are even in line to fight each other right now so really get a grip people.
I mean some of you act like the UFC is your company and you get paid for these fights. This is just for your entertainment but its the fighters lives that they have to deal with.

Besides the casual fan who really don't care who these fighters fight far out number us hardcore heads.

That is the attitude of a professional. | That was a completely different situation because those two guys trained together for months for different opponents. Sure they could have fought but it wasn't an inevitabilty.
The only people acting like primadonnas are the idiots on this forum who think that fighters should be robots without relationships.

You know, it sucks that friends wont fight each other, but I guess the friendfights would'nt be as entertaining... Like if Rashad would give jones a broken neck via a slam... Rashad would kill himself :}
but still=D

This goes to the whole conundrum about this guys being "Martial Artist" vs "fighters" There are certain lines as Martial Artist that some of these guys will not cross. While fighters will fight almost anyone. Dana likes fighters not so much Martial Artists. I don't think it's the end of the world if two team mates don't want to fight each other. But if a title is involved Jone's should move up to HW and not be in line for a title shot if he feels that way.
