Yea, I just lost some respect for Ellenberger...I became a fan after the Condit fight and I even thought he had won the fight...

But IMO, I think he is trying to cause a commotion and began a grudge with Shields in order to get a fight with him...He might be thinking that Joe Silva or Dana White might take notice and make the fight, the only problem is that Ellemberger is not known to the casual mma fan that much...So his plan just completely failed (if that was his plan)...

Good ploy IMO. He figures as does alot of people that Jake will be doing another fight, or so before a title shot. Why not call out a fighter with a great record. If you lose the fight OH WEll, but if you win you'r golden.
