I don't want to see Lesnar turn into a play-it-safe, decision-first, fighter. We don't need another Jon Fitch; who's about as exciting to watch fight as it is to watching paint dry.

Its possible depending on the amount of matches he has before a title shot. One referring to the 1 match he had with Herring or 2-3 which would be a proper amount.
possible matchups that I see before fighting someone in the top 4.

rh | Ah, ok. Considering the way Fitch fights, it was an easy mistake to make.

When people talk about Jackson's safety first fighters, they talk about GSP and Rashad. However, when you look at the way Jon Jones, Donald Cerrone, Shane Carwin, Leonard Garcia and Carlos Condit fight, I don't know you can generalize so easily.
We also got to remember that GSP trains almost 90% outside of Greg Jackson's. His head trainer is Zahabi. Greg Jackson is involved in the gameplans but he doesn't do all of it. People choose to have different cornermen in their fights than their head trainer sometimes.

He's not an idiot, he will bounce back from this loss just like he did against the Mir loss. Getting some stand up and strategy tips from the guys who work with GSP as opposed to only the people he brings in will speed him along quickly.
Imaging Lesnar with the crisp striking blended with his wrestling prowess. Mix that with his natural size, strength, and speed, and who would stop him? | If anything Lesnar probably thought the ref would give him more of a chance to recover. Lesnar was never out of the fight let alone anywhere close to being knocked out.
Turtling up when youre on your back and not improving your position is something he needs to stop doing. Hopefully he took something from his fight with Cain because not all fighters will blow their wad and gas themselves out like Carwin.
Someone said it best when they said Cain learned from Carwins mistake and refined his approach against Lesnar.

Jackson's camp has a wide array of talent. Jackson is renowned for his strategy and ability to dissect fighters' weaknesses more so than his training. But if you're going to hate something, hate the best I suppose.
Someone has been playing too much Dungeons and Dragons I suppose.
