tbh though, is unifying the lw belts really nessecary? why not just drop it like they did the other wec ww, mw, and lhw titles? i dont think the winner of henderson/pettis will jump so much ahead that they deserve a ufc lw title fight, but thats my humble opinion. carlos condit is probably the best proven fighter from wec's past divisions to make a statement in ufc (the argument can be made that he should be undefeated in the octagon) yet he didnt get a shot; he had to prove himself against a worthwhile opponent.
i'd like the winner of henderson/pettis to face kflo or sean sherk.

| I can see a few fighters losing their spots in the ufc with the roster expanding this much probably won't be enough room to fit them all. That be the only drawback really.

i dont think it will be a bad thing overall. i think less gate keepers, but that means more high level fighters fighting one another and odds are, we'll get bigger free fights.

Still bigger than most of Dana's, until now.

Added benefit you probbaly didn't think about: No more frank Mir announcing! | Mostly good but Im wondering if all the WEC fighters will get thrown on the prelims except Aldo, Faber, and Torres.

i might be the only one that doesnt like this. we are losing 6 free fights that the wec gives us with only two extra free shows, a lot of the exciting fights that i loved in wec will be regulated to prelims and maybe not even at all.

^ I never get tired of that sig. Hilarious. When I was watching it and saw him do that, I laughed my ass off. Those cops didn't even look at him twice even though they were fully aware. The face of the one on the left is priceless. He looks like the rook, while the one on the right is the old one but knows he can't do shit either. Wonder what would have happened if they had some other big cops escorting him and he did that.
They probably laughed at him though afterwards.
"Ha-ha, you big bully!"

I think it's great that some of these guys are going to meet, on the other hand i liked the fact that there was a seperate MMA event to watch which meant i didn't need to wait a whole month for another MMA fix.
Also the fights in WEC and even strikeforce seem to be more brutal and alot more TKO's etc than fights in the UFC recently, dunno why i feel this way, it just felt to me that the fights are more entertaining to watch.
i'm gonna miss WEC especially since it was another quality MMA event to watch.
