It's a shame because if Gonzaga had taken this fight to the ground, he would have had a huge advantage over Schaub and therefore could have saved his UFC contract. He seemed pre-occupied with trying to put on an exciting fight on his feet and KO Schaub. I'm sure we'll be seeing Gonzaga in Strikeforce really soon!

Not shocked by any means, he's such a waste of talent in my eyes. He always seems to go into a fight with no game plan what so ever and just sees where the fight takes him. If he could actually work a game plan and put everything in his arsenal to use he could be quite the force. But I don't feel this will ever really happen.

I think Gonzaga's will to fight was smacked out of him by randy carwin jds and so on.. he hasnt shown he wants to win fights, and by his comments I dont see him joining SF anytime soon i believe he wanted out of his contract.. wants to go back to normal life and the bjj.. guy can still make a mega living well not getting the shit kicked out of him..he's not a true MMA fighter he's a BJJ artist that got lost in the sport of MMA..n dont get started with that freakin headkick.

Gonzaga is probably going to win whatever fights he takes on a local level so he'll eventually be back in UFC so he have mixed results in the UFC again.
