| Gabe Gonzaga Released from the UFC
Saw this on his facebook. Guess it was only a matter of time. Guess we have another opponent for Fedor. Quote: |

Its a shame, he is a talented fighter.
I hope he goes to Strikeforce.
Anyway he will (sadly for Crocop Fans) be remembered as the man that destroyed Mirko´s confidence.

Makes sense, I suppose.
He doesn't seem able/willing to learn or adapt as a fighter, and he has developed a knack for losing.
I guess Dana thinks there are plenty of gate-keepers in the HW division.

I've got Gonzaga over Kongo any day of the week, don't get the logic here considering the level of competition he's faced. Very similar to the Jardine cut in that I suppose he's lost a bunch, but the quality of opposition is pretty massive.
Still think there's money in Crocop/Gonzaga II Imo....

Gonzo's my Boy! You my BLUE!!!! YOU MY BOY! Damn Damn Damn DAAAMN!!!!!
Ok....this is just dumb. One reason why I enjoyed Pride so much, you have exciting fighters who fight their hearts out win loose or draw. Were they the best fighters in the world, a few maybe, but not all. At the end of the day though, I'd rather watch those crazy Japanese dudes go all out than watch boring wrestlers try not to lose. I just don't like the Gun to the head mentality that the UFC gives fighters. The UFC is kind of like the hot chick that don't think her shit stinks, but gives a toothy bj.......

I don't agree with this decision at all; I think Gonzaga is usually a good and exciting fighter. If Dana keeps releasing one or two people after every pay-per-view, he's going to run out of fighters. Maybe he's filling some sort of quota where he has to fire someone or someones after every ppv; or maybe he's just a dick and feels a good firing after every ppv is fun.

He had it coming. He seemed to have lost focus of his abilities. I'm not sure how to translate his translated statement but if he put his mind to it, I'm sure he could make his way back to the UFC. That is, unless he is content with "normal life".
