But its still a fight I really want to see, both are guys have been top 5 MW's for a long time imo, not very often we get a chance to see 2 guys so evenly matched fight at such a high level. | i dont think that nate chokes in the big fights at all. he was promised a title fight when he fought maia and didnt seem to choke in that one at all. lolz
i simply think that he over looked chael obsessively wanting to fight anderson again. he paid big time not being prepared for the take down. the only other fight i could think of is anderson silva in which he was just out classed at the time.

Great fight! Can't wait.
I think in this fight we will see the best of both of them. I, however, think that Nate will get the W in this one. I think he will show that the Sonnen fight was misstep and he will be out to prove his hard work. I think he will show lots of technique and good strength. Okami is no push over and I think we will see some sparks when they collide.
Let me be the first (and only most likely) to say that I hope we get to see a three round war! This may be a candidate for FOTY

Comparing Okami to Sonnen is silly. Nate is not and never will be good enough to stop Chael's takedowns. Then again, most opponents won't either. Okami, even training with Chael, can't learn to do what he does.
I think Nate is going to win this fight handily. Okami fares well when he's the stronger man in there, but Nate is a beast. As long as Nate takes the fight to him then he'll do well.

Based on that, along with Okami's primary strength of being able to frustrate fighters and force them to fight his game, I think Nate will lose this one.

i bet the majority of guys who are calling Okami to win this fight were also saying that palhares was going to walk right through him too. Hopefully Nate will win you guys over with this victory and if he doesn't impress you against Okami im sure he'll put on enough of an ass whoopin against Silva that you'll have to atleast give him some respect

Well...
what I understand from this article and what Nate is saying is to basically be prepared for a slow-paced fight with him fighting to win at all costs. So if he has to grind out a win by waiting for Okami to attack and doing nothing... then I hope Okami beats the shit out of Nate.
I am praying that Nate Marquardt loses. What would make it even better to me is all the heartbreak from the Nate-lovers.
I'm with you Chaelfan, I hope that Okami's hand is being raised at the end, instead of Nate "Not the Great" Marquardt's.
