- Randy VS Cro Cop would be terrible in this point of time. Absolutely terrible. If Mir can easily control CC against the cage, yeah... Cro Cop doesn't have shit for Randy. Shit. Except to give him another win.

- Randy VS Tito, again? ...seriously? Just like Cro Cop, and almost as bad, this fight would just give Randy another win. Tito poses no threat whatsoever. The fight wouldn't benefit anyone, including us. I love watching Tito lose but it's boring now, unless he gets KTFO.

-Randy VS Coleman would have been all that if it was 10 years ago. Mark Coleman is old and worn now and has been for quite a while. His wins against Shogun and Bonnar speak for themselves. His abilities are in no way comparable to Randy's in this point of time. It was like watching someones grandpa get beat up.

- Randy VS Any of the top guys at LHW would just make us sad. If you believe that Randy would dominate Shogun or Machida, or any of them, you are delusional. Let alone any of the up and coming top LHW's, not to mention HW's. If Randy takes a shot to his jaw, he is going down and he knows it. He would get knocked out.

I love Randy and I wish he could still keep fighting though. He is a great icon to the sport.

P.S. I was thinking about the Couture/Coleman fight and it made me laugh. I could just imagine Randy smiling on the inside when it was clear the shape of Coleman. "Ha-ha. My old-man's body is better than yours."

One of the most important thngs about this article is this:
"I don't think I'm going to make any public announcements because I don't think anybody's going to buy it."
With Randy having retired a few years back, only to come out of retirement to face (and beat) Tim Sylvia for the HW title, no one is going to really believe him if he says he retires again, but we'd all like to think Randy is going to be fighting forever, but I think we all know that Couture's career is coming to an end.

Sure he's always in amazing shape, he's an incredible fighter, and he defies the aging process, but now seems like the perfect time for Couture to hang up the gloves. I'd hate more than anything to see Couture's career (and legacy) go the same way as Ken Shamrock's. Don't get me wrong, the two are very different in that Couture can still fight at the highest level (and win), but there will come at time fairly soon (within the next two years imo) when he simply won't pose a threat to any of the new breed fighters. I'm sure Tito's recent fight again Hamill made Randy think a little more about this.

He'll always be a legend, and I'm sure it won't be the last we see of Couture (outside of the octagon), but maybe it's for the best.
