Great article. I hope they do something. And it would be stupid for them to go directly head to head with the UFC. They will just get crushed and fade into oblivion, which is the last thing MMA or the fans need. Follow the step by step in the above article and hopefully put together it looks like the picture on the box.

I really hate all these different promotions.

I hate it.

I just want to see all the fighters fight eachother. Instead, because of promotion bullshit, we are limited. It get's really old...

Idc what Strikeforce does, I just hope they collapse sooner than later.

i have to disagree with this. i would rather see one giant organization where the best fight the best, and then some smaller promotions where fighters can work there way up from, or go back down to if they cant make it in the big show.

sure, the initial competition works for a us fans, but only cuz the the ufc co promotes.

in the entertainment industry, and even in something such as wrestling, the more organizations you have the better the quality. not so in sports. the more you have the thinner the talent pool gets. to me it is one of the most annoying things about boxing. the ufc will not have an equal unless they implode or Pride somehow rises from the ashes in japan.

i would like to see some cross over between bellator and strikeforce but i get the feeling if strikeforce is too involved with that and they did merge it would only lead more fighters from bellator leaving for the ufc

What is funny is that everybody (inlcuded me) think that they know exactly how to run a business and know exactly what SF should do and how to do despite that in reality we dont know 95% of things that happen backstage.

I mean, i agree with the guy that wrote that article, and if SF use those "tips" it would become a better organization, but it all sounds sooooo fucking easy.

I have called Scott Coker a dumb and a retard many times, mainly because I hate how he never say relevant things and gives important announces only once every 3 months, because he makes no sense desicions (a loser gets a title shot and thing like that), and also because he is uncapable of making Fedor and Overeem fight more frequently and because he say stupid things such as "I dont know if Mayhem and Nick really want to fight eachother" meaning that he will not make that fight happen despite that the fans want to see it.

But still it is not that easy to run a business like that and to make all that the fans want to see.

My point is that I agree that Sf does a lot of bullshit and should change many things, but everybody is talking as if its really very easy to do the changements.

There is always going to be a demand for an alternative. UFC is not going to kill SF ever! What is going to kill SF is SF!
