This is going to be a one-sided beat down. I think Aldo is going to have an easy time with Grispi, and KO him first round.

Aldo VS Grispi is such a good fight to start off the UFC FW division.

Grispi is very impressive especially considering how young he is. This should be an explosive fight! One thing is for sure in that someone is getting finished.

...I got Grispi.

Yeah man, the merger is really gonna make the standard of the UFC jump up another notch. It's inevitable that a lot more (possibly) free TV events will be made to bridge the gaps between the PPV's in which lower ranking fighters will fight (ones which usually would have been on the undercard of PPVs) because there will be so many more high-level fighters going on. I just can't wait.

i am guessing this is for the now ufc fw title??? i dont see where it says that it is but i would think since there is no fw in the ufc that aldo would just automaticlly fight for the title his first fight.

can anyone confirm this?

No he is , as of the merger, the UFC (1st) FW Champion. Hopefully that clears up any questions.

i would be more then willing to sig bet on that aldo never knocks out anybody in the first becaue the way he fights he feels people out. also grispi is a beast i dont think he will fall at the first punch that lands.

that being said aldo still takes it but i will bet the house that its not in te first.

EDIT: i ment anymore he doesn't knock people out in the first. in all his title fights he laid low and came out strong the 2nd round.

Agreed man. He uses the first as a way to get an idea of his opponents timing, distance and footwork so he can attack in the second. I agree that Grispi will probably put up a good fight, but I still see Aldo taking this one.

I don't think Aldo goes into a fight saying ,"I'm going to coast this 1st RD then I'll really start fighting in the 2nd." It will really just depend on what Grispi gives him because I guarantee if Aldo sees an opening he won't be like ,"Well shit it's R1 I'll just hold back," so with that being said this will be over within 2.
