i've NEVER...NEVER mentioned anything about rampage's lil rampage he had in 08. i've never mentioned brock's ufc 100 tirade, i could care less. same with karo. i'm not sure what specific thing karo did to earn hate (maybe the tuf 5 scene?), but he's never got it from me.

J/K, seriously though, I respect Karo and anyone else with the guts to get in the Octagon. He was understandably upset after the loss, but he's never been a humble guy. Other than that I can't comment on his mental state but physically he looks like he needs some work.
Yeah, I know he's never been "ripped" neither is B.J. but at some point you have to get with the program. All of these young cats (and saavy veterans) are doing some crazy workouts and cross-training. Hell, even Hallman looked like he went through some vigorous training. Dana could be right, the sport might be passing by Karo. Still, I would give him one more shot, usually two in a row gets you cut, unless you do something stupid like Daley.

However I think Karo was given the chance to make up a lot for his past issues. He looked in poor shape yes he's not normally ripped but you could see his conditioning looked poor and he put in a poor performance. While the stoppage was a little early I don't think the outcome was gonna change all that much. I would have been surprised he wasn't cut.

I have always liked the armenian judo specialist but after his recent problems with backing out of fights last minute then he came into this fight terribly out of shape and it showed in the short time the fight was going for. He got cut hopefully this will give him the motivation he needs to string some wins together.

while i feel the punch that knocked him down didnt hurt him it only caught him off balance the hammer fists were coming on pretty hard and fast ref did the right thing, sorry karo im a big fan but you lost, an extra three of four seconds would have given the fight a more definitive end but it would have caused unnecessary damage, he needs to go back to the smaller shows he is young he can make a steady living of his name and pay for his surgery and support his extended family and gain back the respect of the mma community and come back a new man, i wish people would let go of the whole TUF5 thing it was between him and nate diaz, dana is doing the right thing karo needs to biuld himself backup the right way, i just wish he had kept his mouth shut about strikeforce he could have had a decent job there, karo needs to go to 155 or get a proper strength and conditioning coach to get solid around his core.

I don't blame UFC for cutting Karo. He looked fat and out of shape and from the start I knew he didn't look good at all. He used to be a great fighter but he can't hang with the best anymore and he didn't take this fight seriously. he has been given too many chances by the UFC and this was it, he was told he had one more shot and he didn't do anything with it.
Karo can be a great fighter, he has tons of potential and we have seen what he can really do at his best, but for now he doesn't belong in the UFC, plain and simple.

I've always had respect for bringing judo throws and making them popular in no-gi and in mma ...having said that he's an incredible underachiever but his panic attacks are real. he had massive love handles (even though I've said for the longest that he should be at 155) part of the reason is high levels of cortisol from "stress" and all that...he's totally FUBAR methinks but that stoppage was definitely early...

He was doing absolutely nothing but letting Dennis hit him in the face. | Touche. When you're right, you're right.
