I guess I'm in the minority on this one because it looked like a good stoppage to me. He covered up, but did NOTHING to get out of that position. He was just taking the punches and Hallman was serving them up pretty hard and fast as someone else already mentioned. There was no kicking or attempted leg submission, he turtled up and paid the price for not trying to defend himself better. I've never been a fan of his holier than thou attitude, and after seeing how unprepared he was last night after being given another shot only made happier that he lost.

On a more sincere note he won't be in top form again until he figures out all his health issues he's been having. Hopefully he can get his life together outside of fighting before he attempts to do it again.

I didn't notice that the short little uppercuts Hallman caught Karo with in the clinch wobbled him.

Just before they are separated and at Dennis Hallman connects with the weakest 1-2, he hits Karo with 2 short uppercuts in the clinch and during the separation where Mirgliotta breaks them apart, Karo stumbles and wipes blood from his nose.

Then it was like 5 seconds later and Karo was on the ground. And Superman jumps on his and connects with 4 solid shots to the face and ear/neck.

Karo should have been trying to block the punches or trap/catch Hallman's wrist with his right hand when he was on the ground....and his left should have been on Superman's knee...and use his legs to separate and spin on his back or at least shift away from him. Karo instead decided to try the loose turtle technique.

Before I heard Karo on InsideMMA I was happy he was coming back.

I saw Impact FC...but I saw a mix of Impact FC 1 and 2 and it didn't have the Karo fight....so I don't know what he looked like against Ben Mortimer (5-4 on the Aussie MMA circuit) but I knew that Karo was the huge underdog in this fight. Superman has been on a tear.

PS. Watch Dennis Hallman as Robin Phoenix -
