Agreed, though it is hard to see anyone loose their job, the lighter weights will def put everyone in the UFC on notice to perform or go home. They work work work transition to transition to blah blah... Ruthless as it sounds, w the UFC being the only "major league" of mma, just goes to show that job performance is key. If you took 15 min to not be able to give someone a gordita at taco bell your ass would be canned, and taco bell is major league lol... Just spatial, not my only thoughts, but yeah...(keep quotaions in mind)...(...) |

hey dana you fucking idiot there is going to be less exciting fights now because you cut a guy who was 3-1 with 2 crazy knockouts and refused to tap in the one fight he lost. now everyone will just sit on top of one another in fear of getting cut. |

It's crazy to expect every fighter and fight to be exciting. Some people have styles and abilities that counter what the other guy is doing. Fighters get injured in the early going and can't fight to full ability for the rest of the match. Some fighters are just outclassed in one area and can't get the fight to the position they want. I really think if Dana had his way he would be running tough man contest where guys were required to go toe to toe and just wail away on each other til one knocks the other out. While fights like that do offer entertainment not personally what I want to see a full night of. Problem is Dana created alot of the need to play it safe in matches because of the 2 losses and out policy they use. Guys are afraid to over extend themselves in matches cause if they get caught odds are they gone in alot of cases and they certainly won't be rewarded for trying. Much safer as a fighter to take a boring decision win get double your pay and job security. |
