| My UFC 66 In-Depth Breakdown
Here's an article i wrote for MMANews.com with my indepth predictions for UFC 66 next Saturday. It's a little lengthy but doesn't take as long to read as it looks. Also there's a part that's missing a word in the Bisping predicion. It says something like he will see his own 'red' blood, i was referring to Schafer of course with his nickname but the word 'Red' was left out before that part or it would've made a lot more sense. Check it out and give your thoughts whether you agree or disagree with any of it and feel free to leave your own breakdown. http://www.mmanews.com/ufc/Luis-Cruz...-In-Depth.html |

good read i agree with everything but the griffen jardine fight, i think griffen will pull out the win, and i think the chuck tito fight will last a big longer before tito gets knocked out

Nice thoughts/review Cruz. You pretty much hit everything on the head perfectly.

The only thing I might add/change has to do with the Leben/MacDonald fight. I believe that the longer that the fight goes, the better chance that MacDonald has of winning. I think Leben will be frustrated by MacDonald's slickness. I think if it goes past the first round, then MacDonald will emerge victorious. I see Leben KOing MacDonald in the first or I see MacDonald subbing Leben or getting the decision.
I am also wary about Arlovski, despite his talent. IMO he should have beat Tim in that second fight and in the third one as well, despite the injury. I am interested to see where his head is at, because as Big Tim said, "half of the game is 90 percent mental."

I think a lot / all of the predictions are spot on. Personally I think AA will finish his fight quickly with a big KO in the first. I also think that Forrest may go to a split decision either way, really hard to call that one accurately.
Nice article though, good build up for 66.

I'm pretty sure all the other writers are doing a pre-66 column as well. I know I'm doing one. Still some more hype columns to come.
