Terrible decision. But i am impressed with Nam Phan. He's stand up is good his TDD and ability to get back to his feet is REALLY good. He could be a good fighter in time.

Wow, hard to watch. Really sucks when someone works their ass off and wins and fight when the judges are playing on their PSP's or some shit. Nam won, we all know..Hopefully the commission will look at it.

Here are some of the live play by play results as they happened last night for the fight...

UFC 'TUF 12 Finale' Results & Live Play-by-Play

Quote:
Leonard Garcia vs. Nam Phan
Round 1
Herb Dean referees the first televised fight of the show, which is also the first televised UFC featherweight bout. Both men swinging away early and Phan lands a solid right upside the head of Garcia, who’s swinging and missing with big, looping shots. Thudding body kick by Phan is answered in kind by Garcia. Phan connects with a nice three-piece combo. The fighters trade body shots and Garcia tries a spinning back-fist that’s blocked. Left jab is working for Phan now, as Garcia continues to throw wild hooks and uppercuts which mostly miss or connect with Phan’s arms. Phan lands a head kick, but Garcia keeps moving forward, shaking his head. 10-9 Phan.

Round 2
Garcia comes out firing, connecting with a nice body shot and throwing multiple head kicks. Garcia pressing the action with punches and leg kicks until a nice hook from Phan slows him down a bit. Ninety seconds into the round, Garcia shoots and rushes Phan into the fence with a double-leg, but Phan escapes quickly. Phan ducks a punch from Garcia and rocks him with an uppercut, then begins to tee off. Phan lands four or five hard shots before Garcia finally hits the mat. Phan gives chase, taking Garcia’s back and sinking in both hooks as Garcia rolls away from the base of the cage. Riding high on Garcia’s back, Phan rolls his opponent onto his side and tries to sink in the rear-naked choke. Good wrist control from Garcia, but Phan gets an arm under and looks to have the choke. Garcia appears to quickly double-tap, then pries Phan’s arm loose. The bout continues and Phan finishes on top with a few short punches. 10-9 Phan.

Round 3
Phan is cut early on in the final round, bleeding from the right side of his face. The cut appears to be on the brow or up along the hairline. Garcia tries a takedown, can’t hold Phan down, and Phan comes up swinging and digging some of his trademark body blows. Garcia was connecting better in the second round than the first, but now he’s back to swinging wild. Jab from Phan snaps back the head of Garcia. Tired-looking kick from Garcia is timed by Phan, who punishes him with a stiff jab. Garcia is clearly exhausted, hands by his side, but still throwing. Uppercut to the body from Phan, then one to the head. Garcia pushes Phan into the fence and again can’t hold him there for long. Garcia hears the 10 second clapper and windmills one more time. 10-9 Phan.

Official scores: 29-28 Garcia, 30-27 Phan and 29-28 for Leonard Garcia, winner by split decision.

Nam Phan vs. Leonard Garcia
A historic moment for the UFC, formally introducing the 145'ers. And given the way these guys bang, this could be a great way to kick off the night.

Round 1: Garcia throws the hard straight right. Phan lands a few clean shots in an exchange. Garcia fires a straight and a leg kick. Garcia lands the hook. Long 1-2 from Garcia. Body kick from Phan, but Garcia gives one right back. Garcia throws jab/cross/hook, then lands a body kick. Phan comes back with a hard punch combo. Wide hooks from Garcia. Then a jab. Phan goes to the body.Garcia tries a flying knee but gets checked. Garcia tries a backfist. Leg kick and punches from Phan. Garcia fires back before Phan gets momentum together. Phan jabs. Phan jabs to the body. Garcia's punches are as wild and off-balance as usual. Leg kick Phan, and Garcia returns. Phan with two body shots, a hook to the head and a kick. Garcia returns a kick of his own. Phan goes for the head kick, Garcia to the leg. Nice body shot from Phan.Phan lands a nice left on the jaw of Garcia. They punch to the bell. Phan's landing cleaner, but Garcia is trying to remain the aggressor. "Caaaaalm dooooown," Greg Jackson advises Garcia.

Round 2: Garcia grinning to start the round. He's in his element. Both guys trade jabs.Garcia with a hard body shot then a straight and a body kick. Phan pushes forward with jabs. Garcia with a leg kick. Phan lands a left. Garcia wobbles back after getting punched; he might be tiring. Phan lands an uppercut in an exhange. Garcia actually shoots, trying to get the fight to the ground. He latches onto Phan against the fence, but Phan escapes. Phan lands his left hook to the body. 1-2/body-hook from Phan, who then swarms forward with an assault of punches before dropping Garcia with a side kick. Phan pours on the abuse from the top. Then, he transitions to Garcia's back when Bad Boy rolls, looking for the choke. Garcia rolls again, Phan stays on him, looking to control Garcia's arms and look for the choke. Garcia throws a punch at Phan behind his head. Garcia wriggles out of the position, but Phan stays on top of him to the bell. Huge round for Phan.

Round 3: Garcia attacking with punches and kicks. He shoots and gets Phan to the mat. Phan is cut open on his forehead, and covered in blood. Phan escapes, takes a knee, and lands some strikes of his own. Garcia with a body kick and jab. Garcia shoots and Phan sprawls. Garcia is warned for the second time for shorts holding. Phan gets up and lands a big body shot. Garcia is wobbling, gassed. He throws a body kick and gets punched back. Phan with a left hook to the dome. And another. A hook and body shot from Phan. Garcia with a pair of body kicks. He starts throwing huge looping haymakers. Phan responds with a short uppercut. They clinch against the cage. Phan separates, and lands another uppercut. Then a fast body shot/hook combo. Garcia swings like a drunk man. Finally, the bell. I'd give it to Phan, but Garcia's gotten lucky before...

Amy Fischer, the Long Island Lolita, just won some sort of Dave and Busters contest, according to Frankie Edgar. Good for her.

Garcia def. Phan via split decision: 29-28 Garcia, 30-27 Phan, 29-28 Garcia. The crowd immediately howls in disgust, then starts chanting "Bullshit!" Garcia admits he scored the fight the way they did, and offers Phan an immediate rematch. Jesus. "Asian brother can't get no love," says Phan. "I think I beat him all three rounds," Phan says, and Rogan agrees. "I don't think it means anything as far as the people in this room," Joe adds. The shitheaded judges just love Leonard Garcia, for some reason.

LEONARD GARCIA VS. NAM PHAN

Round 1 - Referee Herb Dean in the cage for the evening's first Spike TV-broadcast fight. Phan takes the center and moves forward with rapid-fire hands. Garcia covers up and slides away. He's winging bombs, as well. Neither has scores anything too significant, but Garcia is firing as hard as he possibly can. Kicks mixed in by both. Phan lands a solid three-punch combination. Garcia ducks and moves away from the cage. Both fighters land to the body. Halfway in, and it's back and forth so far. Phan the aggressor at most times. Garcia kicks the arm. Garcia firing off wild shots as Phan throws more measured blows. Phan kicks the leg. Four punches for Phan, including the body, and a kick to boot. Garcia wings an answer, and Phan kicks the head again. Great action in this opening round. Phan with a left on the chin. Flurry to close, and Phan takes the first on the MMAjunkie.com card, 10-9.

Round 2 - Garcia takes the center and kicks high. Phan jabs, but Garcia starts putting combinations together. Stiff overhand from Garcia. Phan answers, and it's another Garcia slugfest. Garcia pumps jabs and kicks low. Phan continues to move forward. Garcia still firing off big overhand rights. Phan digs to the body. Garcia shoots in successfully, though Phan is immediately back to a knee, then his feet. Reset in the middle. Garcia lands two punches, but Phan lands sic. High kick from Phan, and another to the body sees Garcia on the deck. Phan rushes in with punches. Garcia moves to his knees, and Phan takes the back with hooks. Garcia trying to roll and change positions, but Phan is on tight. He's very high on the back, but Garcia can't capitalize as he's busy defending a choke. One minute. Choke may be in, and it looks like Garica may have tapped. Crowd sure thinks so. Phan re-adjusts. He remains on top when Garcia rolls, and the bell sounds. MMAjunkie.com awards the second to Phan, 10-9.

Round 3 - Garcia takes the center and fires off big shots. Phan avoiding well, but Garcia working kicks to all levels and staying the aggressor rather than countering Phan. Garcia shoots in. Phan again back to a knee quickly and then to his feet. Phan starts to open up again. Garcia throwing his typical wild blows, but Phan staying tighter and scoring more frequently. Garcia shoots in again, but Phan sprawls well, lands a few punches and moves back to his feet. Halfway in, and Phan is working all angles. Garcia kicks the cup, but they fight on. Phan continues to put together combinations and stay out of the way of Garcia's desperate blows. Garcia smiling and firing, but Phan is peppering the body and the head. Final minute. Garcia is exhausted, but there's no quit. Meanwhile, Phan is compact and working efficiently, though not moving forward. Garcia with one final go in the closing seconds, but it's not going to be enough. MMAjunkie.com gives him a close third round, 10-9, but gives Phan the fight 29-28. Wouldn't really even have a problem with a clean sweep. Leonard Garcia def. Nam Phan via split decision (29-28, 27-30, 29-28).

Crowd does not like the decision at all.

Leonard Garcia vs. Nam Phan - Round 1 - Garcia and Phan trade big shots with Garcia's back against the fence but it looked like Leonard got the better of it. Phan is chasing and Garcia misses with the big overhand right. Jab lands for Garcia and then two shots that miss. Nice body kick by Phan so Garcia lands one of his own. Right hand by Garcia. Great combination by Phan. Poor form by Garcia means a hard counter by Phan lands. Garcia keeps throwing the winging punches and Phan is just using much more simple technique to land jabs to the head and body. Phan with a nice accurate combination, Garcia wings back and misses all of his shots so of course the announcers talk about how much heart Garcia has. Phan clearly won this round in my eyes, but I'm sure the judges will give it to Garcia...that's what always happens.

Round 2 - Garcia goes to the body with the left nicely and now Phan is landing the crisp shots. Garcia with a nice leg kick and now he eats a left, now a body kick, now another left. Garcia shooting now and trying to get the takedown. Phan badly hurts Garcia. He's unloading. Side kick knocks Garcia down and Phan is on top landing hard shots. Garcia gives up his back and one hook is in. Second hook in. Phan having trouble getting the choke locked in. Looked like Garcia tapped but the ref didn't stop it. The round ends and I think it was absolutely a 10-8 round for Phan as he was extremely close to finishing it.

Round 3 - Garcia throwing a lot of strikes, nothing really landing but now he shoots in. Phan's face is covered with blood from a cut on the side of his head. Garcia can't get the takedown he shoots for and he is exhausted now. Phan is opening up now and Garcia is just throwing arm punches. Big uppercut by Nam. Nam is landing cleaner shots all round but I guess Garcia throwing a lot of punches probably matters more to judges. Why do I feel like we're about to see Garcia pull off another theft? 10-9 Phan on my card makes it 30-26.

Official Scorecard: 29-28 Garcia, 30-27 Phan, 29-28 Garcia. Leonard Garcia wins by split decision. That was absolute robbery. That is horrid.

You would of had to dig through roughly 162 PAGES of my posts to find that. I couldn't even find it! Nor would I want to. What else did I say a year ago? This is kinda scary. I'm thinking of a restraining order.

Or I could have clicked on all the "all posts by Sakara" link in your profile hit "last page" and grabbed the first one I saw. That probably would have worked too.

I was actually going to post a few that you got wrong but that one was just SOOO wrong I felt one was enough.

Point is everyone is wrong from time to time. No need to be a dick about it.

Cant you just discuss the fights without making it a personal attack every time someone disagrees with you or posting it in your sig when get something right?

Seriously man what is wrong with you? You used to be a good poster and I used to respect you but now you're nothing but negativity and personal attacks.

Umm he wasnt trying to reason anything, he was trying to explain to the crowd why maybe the judges scored it that way. He EVEN said he lost first words out of his mouth and had Nam winning. So you lost respect for Garcia for being humble and saying that Nam got robbed too? Sounds like your post is more moronic than anything Leonard said last night.
