Barnett is 5-1 this year only losing to crocop. I´m very close giving it to Crocop because he won their fight, but since Barnett showed huge heart in that fight and beated tougher guys than Mirko did I have to go with him. Barnett was deadtired, Crocop dropped him with a livershot and he still went for a leglock. Mirko would probably won anyway but it was sad to see it end because of an eyepoke.

Agreed, Mirko was on his game that night, that is the best I've ever seem him look and I would venture to say that him vs Fedor on that night would've been somethign spectacular, but even then I thought the same thing last time and Fedor took that one pretty easily aside from the scare in round one wiht the straight left he ate.

i would have to go with crocop as well.. not just because of who we fought or because he won the OWGP...

the amount of money and interest he has generated since he won the OWGP... i don't think any fighter has garnered as much a reputation or interest as crocop has recently.. with all the talk of who he's signing with and the bidding war that's probably ensued... dude is the talk of mma right now.. coming off of winning the grand prix and not losing a fight since Fedor beat him in 2005... i think he's gotta be fighter of the year...

i've descided to go with cro crop while barnets year was impressive, mirko got the win and his list of fights are to impressive to ignore

i ruled against gsp because he only fought twice, both impressive but still only two fights and anderson has a loss, dq or not its still a loss
