Don't confuse someone else's observing your stupidity as me "getting my boyfriend after you."

I guess getting hit with a forearm/bicep can do that?

I did some searching on other boards and I guess this has been argued to death already. I do not live my life on message boards so I obviously missed this discussion. All I remember seeing is a GIF like the one above and it looked like Serra hit GSP with a grazing shot to the back of the head. I retract saying it is illegal but the main point I was trying to make still stands. Anderson looked far worse against Chael then GSP did against Serra.

I once again must re-iterate: Submitting someone following their fighting the fight of their life most certainly does not look worse than being knocked unconscious.

GSP wasn't knocked unconscious, he tapped....just saying.

lol....I'm still not sure if that was a tap or an unconscious response, but point taken.

If you have a green name on here it means you know everything and are not to be questioned, even if your being a huge dick about it. At least RH is right most of the time and doesn't have friends jumping in to pile on top of someone else in his defense.

At the moment I would tend to would agree with V3xi. Anderson got crushed for 4 1/2 rounds and wound up winning in hail mray fashion. GSP humiliated Serra in the rematch proving that the first fight was a fluke. Until Anderson and Chael have a rematch, I think GSP has been far more impressive than Anderson.

If/When I've been wrong, I've admitted it openly and consistently.

However, I'm not the one attempting to defend the stance that a fighter somehow looked better being stopped in less than a round than another fighter who finished his opponent.

It is still my stance that GSP is an amazing fighter and the greatest WW of all time. He is probably #1 P4P at this moment if not #2.

He is not, however, a more dominant champion than Anderson Silva. Silva is undefeated in title fights and has finished all but 3 of his opponents. It is still my contention that this is more impressive than "winning rounds."

I have not taken my dislike for Anderson's conduct or Ed Soares into account on any of this. It is purely based on their fights.

It's a true testament to the greatness of both fighters that we can even have this conversation.

Before I said the word illegal blow I said that GSP beat much tougher competition as the original article in this thread says. If Anderson beat 8 midgets in a row defending his belt then it would not be as impressive. The quality of opponent has to be taken into account as does the weaknesses shown by each champion.

GSP may have weaknesses but they are nowhere near Anderson and Black House's problems as a whole with wrestlers. GSP beat one of the top 3 strikers in UFC history twice with Penn as well as a power striker with Alvez. He beat very decorated wrestlers in Koscheck and Fitch and Hughes. He beat great submission artists in Penn and to a lesser extent Serra.

Anderson beat some good opponents as well but again, the list is nowhere near what GSP has faced and dominated. Anderson being able to finish so many of these fighters is also due to them not being as well rounded.

Back to the original comment that pissed you off, GSP beating Penn twice is far more impressive then Forrest and James fucking Irvine. Stupid fucking opinion and dead wrong.

It is also incredibly arrogant to anoint yourself the winner of a discussion as its going on inside that thread and having a friend back you up with the same garbage. It cheapens this forum when the whole point of this place to begin with is try to have a logical discussion of the topic at hand. I may have said something that was stupid in your eyes but all you provided was a one liner ending in a bunch of ? marks where I at least tried to explain myself and keep the discussion going - until I was attacked anyway.
