Well thats for you MMA fan and this all goes back to what I said about learning to separate the two. Tyson has had a lot of short comings in life but will forever be known as one of the best boxers of all time.

There is no character damage that you can inflict that would take away from his highlight reel or what he has accomplished as a boxer. So when you ask me why I like Mike Tyson don't say you haven't been told (you know his achievements per your own post)

Not at all and if you read my follow up posts I remained on topic on why I like Mike Tyson as a boxer. What he was accused of doing outside the ring has no correlation on his skillsets as a boxer.
