Rua better work that TDD, but I just cant see him stopping Rashad from taking him down, and taking a dec. And who knows how good of shape Rua is going to be in,coming off a injury and a looong lay off, ring rust will hurt him. This isnt going to be an easy title defence, thats for sure.
On another note, match Machida up with Randy.

On another note, match Machida up with Randy. | no shogun is incredibly active on bottom he will be able to get up and might even sub him.
also rashad gassed himself laying and preying against thiago silva and rampage which led to him almost getting knocked out in the third round of both fights.
now with two extra rounds i dont see him being able to maintain his stamina and will get knocked out eventually.
but i agree its not going to be easy.

but i agree its not going to be easy. | I really hope he can get up but in a cage, it's a lot tougher than in the Pride ring where not only did you have the benefit of being able to move while near the ropes you had the refs forcing constant work while on top. Neither of these apply in the UFC.

Rashad won't be finishing Shogun, so if the Shogun that came in shape at fought Machida for 25 mins shows up, I think he can outlast Rashad. Once Rashad tires and either A) cant secure the takedown or B) can't maintain it, Shogun knocks him out in the late rounds

but i agree its not going to be easy. | The last few times we saw Rua on the ground, he got submitted by Forest, and took way to much damage from Coleman, who knows what Rashad could do. Not to mention, its the UFC, and wrestling is all powerful atm, Evans is a BJJ BB, and he gassed a little against Thiago, but not against Rampage, and both of those power punchers couldnt put him away, so its not like Rua will have an easier time, hes just gotta wain 3 out of 5 rounds.

Why all the hate for Tito vs Lil Nog? I know Tito is on like a 3 fight loss streak but it isn't like Lil Nog has been overly impressive his last two fights. A loss to Bader and what could very well have been a loss to Brilz, not like Nog should be looking for a step UP in competition.

also shogun is imo a better striker then rampage albeit not by that much i think as far as putting him away he can do it. i agree the ground game is the x factor.
but while shogun has been on the ground minimally in the ufc and hasnt fared great when is the last time we saw rashad on the top of someone with an active guard? never?
this is a very unpredictable fight im going with my boty shogun still.
