I wish MORE people used the cage to this advantage!
I've often used it to transition to a better position by walking on it upside down when I'm on top, and coming down on the other side, or just a fake out so my opponent doesn't know what I'm doing. try it!

Every time I go to respond to this post I catch a glimpse of someone's sig of the kick, watch it for about 7 minutes straight, then completely forget what I was going to post.

It wasn't the cage that landed the kick, it was Bendo dropping his hands.
How many of you noticed Werdum using the cage as leverage when he snapped in that triangle on Fedor?

Not exactly a great utilization of the leverage it could create.

Maybe the UFC should have fighters fighting on a cliff so these kind of shenanigans dont happen anymore?

It will be interesting to see if this is now utilized more often.
My opinion is that it should not be illegal. The cage is utilized in grappling, as already noted, and in clinch work and takedowns.
This kind of leads back to the cage vs. ring discussions. I prefer the cage.
