Why does eveyone think Duffee has good boxing? Because he KO'd Hague in 6 seconds? His boxing is nothing special and Overeem will show that. Duffee is bascially a way worse version of Rodgers and Overeem is going to brutalize him.
Overeem is slowly becoming the most overrated fighter in MMA. Seriously the only somewhat Top Ten fighter he has fought in about 3-4 years was Rodgers and we all know Rodger isn't much of anything now. The last time he fought a legit Top 10 fighter he got whooped by Werdum. I really wish we could see Fedor or Werdum fight him so the MMA community can be woken up to the fact Overeem at best is a barely Top 10 HW and more then likely barely Top 15.

This is a post Pride Japan fight, we are expecting a less than two weeks to prepare kind of fight, not not to be taken too serious. I personally expect a freak show fight...so why not against Duffee?
All I am saying is that anything can happen, but most likely Overeem "kills" Duffee...So, I certainly would not be sad or disappointed if Overeem adds another highlight to his "Overeem highlights video" on youtube (so to speak).

This is even more ridiculous than Diaz VS Cyborg.
1st round KO for sure.

Todd Duffee Says He's Fighting Alistair Overeem at K-1 Dynamite!! on NYE
Well it looks like his detractors won't be able to call Alistair Overeem a can crusher after New Year's Eve.
According to heavyweight prospect Todd Duffee, he and the the Strikeforce and 2010 K-1 Grand Prix champion will meet in Japan that night as the main event of Fields' K-1 Dynamite!! show.
Duffee made the announcement via his Facebook page, but quickly took the post down, but not before we grabbed a screenshot of the message in which he asked, "Have no plans on NYE? Dream Dynamite 2010: Duffee VS Overeem on HDnet!!!"
The 6-1 Evansville, Indiana native, who only fought once this year and was dropped by the UFC for his "bad attitude" according to the promotion's president Dana White, has not fought since being knocked out by Mike Russow in the third round at UFC 114 after pounding on the Chicago, Illinois native for the first twelve and a half minutes of the fight. He's scheduled to face 6-3 TUF 10 veteran Abe Wagner under the Titan Fighting Championship banner on January 29.
Overeem (33-11-1) has been equally as inactive in MMA this year, logging just one fight against Brett Rogers, whom he defeated by TKO in just under four minutes at Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery in St Louis, Missouri in May.
The fight has not officially been announced, but Overeem stated last week that he was hoping for a decent opponent and that he was hoping that DREAM would put their heavyweight belt up as the prize for the winner if the match-up was belt-worthy and this fun little scrap fits the bill. http://www.cagepotato.com/todd-duffe...1-dynamite-nye | Just saw this, thought it was interesting.

| I wouldn't call Duffee a can....but I wouldn't call him elite competition either.

Hopeful, but in my mind, very doubtful. I think Overeem vs Semy in a K-1 fight is more likely....but I think Semy is too injured.
You know what sucks.....Overeem has never faced Bob Sapp....please....for the love of god...please do not make it Overeem vs Sapp
Overeem vs Hong Man Choi in a K-1 fight?
Or Overeem vs Minowaman in MMA.
I am sure whoever he fights, it's not going to be that much of a challenge.
Wish it were Josh Barnett | Actually, I think a fight with Bob Sapp would be awesome as long as he has another fight right after it. Sapp can be he pre fight fight warm up.

Well Duffee vs Overeem sounds interesting, not something like Overeem vs Barnett but at least its much better to watch Overeem vs Duffee than Overeem vs some fat can.
Now, it looks very very improbable, but what if Duffee somehow wins? He will suddenly become Top 10 and everybody that think Alistair is a mosnter will think that he is a joke?

If Duffee wins this, he will be right back in the UFC, in line for a titleshot, haha.
DUFFEE BY VENGEANCE!
