Wow, what a disgrace. People wonder why some people don't have Overeem top 8ish at HW. I'd love to see Duffee catch him.

His "big win" is against the Headhunter in a close fight and not too much else, and he has been destroyed twice when he fought top competition (Nelson and Dos Santos). )
Edit: And McCorkle is 122, behind Mariusz Pudzianowski (.... although I have no problem with such a ranking, prior to Struve, McCorkle had only fought 1 guy with a >.500 record)

I saw Duffee and Russow were pre 30s.
But Duffee has only fought 3 fighters in the top 100 and a 7 second fight with Tim Hague really doesn't show anyone anything.
I am sure if Duffee lasts more than a round with Overeem him will move up at least a dozen spots...probably 20 spots.

Well, considering the fact that DREAM didn't match Overeem up with a cartoon character, I'd say this is pretty acceptable matchmaking, particularly for their Dynamite!! show. The Duffee hype train got derailed something quick, but let's not forget he floored a 6'11 man with a freakin' jab, is enormously strong, and has good wrestling to boot.
I don't expect Duffee to win, but I don't expect it to be a total can-crush either.

Well thank god Overeem is fighting top 50 ranked opponents now. I was getting worried for a second.

Overeem by Brutal Knee like he did on Fujita. If Duff Man catches him and beats him expect Bald Man to bring him back and start talking shit again

This is a win win for dana. If overeem wins then "listen guys, i mean are you all taking fucking crazy pills?! Top fucking 10?! Big deal th guy beat a ufc reject who had 2 weeks to train for the fight" overeem loses "listen guys i try and tell you before, the ufc has the best fighters on the planet, overeem... and i like the guy but for you to say hes top 10 and then he gets embarrased by a ufc reject?! cmon guys"
I for one am happy this fight is happening. When pride was around it was the best and they didnt rely on rankings and who deserves what as much. They just put on whatever fight they thought would be entertaining and thats how it should be. Fuck all this we controll your career like jon jones, "were going to put him against shitty people and risk his allure because even know he seems like he can destroy anyone rather then just finding out were gonna make him wait.
