And yes Saki smashed Manhoef, but you sound as if he dominated the fight...I Youtubed it and Manhoef was doing well up to when he got caught with the left high kick that rocked him in the second round...
So now I am not sure who wins in an MMA bout, smaller gloves equals more chance of punches getting through so I think anyone can take a Manhoef vs Saki MMA bout IMO | Well true they could put him against someone who was in K1 but I just pointed out that he beat him already so for a lot of fans (who know K1), it won't be as exciting.
You agreed with me and said "yes Saki smashed manhoef" but then you said that I made it sound like he dominated the fight. I said he smashed him and you agreed that he smashed him and I didn't say anything more. Manhoef was doing well in the first round and nearly even, but in the second round, he got dropped 3 times.
Smaller gloves equals more chances of punches getting through but Saki has a better chin than Manhoef. The chances are that if he connects, Manhoef goes down.

| I agree that he did smash Manhoef because that is a fact (I cannot say he didn't because that would be a lie), but he did so in the second round, roughly 1 minute and 15 seconds of "smashing" time, after around 4 mintues and 45 seconds of close and intense action from both men...Now to me, I read "Saki smashed manhoef" and automatically think "domination" as if Manhoef had no chance in that fight, but that's just me (and probably other people thought that as well)...but when I saw the fight, I was like hmm, close fight actually... Another fight against Melvin could work. Most American fans aren't familiar with them but Melvin is very marketable, he looks intimidating. Gohkan can be built up too, with some good marketing. "The guy who battled Overeem" blah blah blah. Hell, Nog fought Herring for the 3rd time in his UFC debut. Saki vs Manoef II would have lots of action.

Personally I can't see how anyone can say he has a bad ground game until they see it for the first time....Maybe this guy is a brown belt level Ju Jitsu player or maybe he's really good a wrestling? We just don't know, so why just assume? That's what annoys me the most about forums.....
