No, I dont want to see that because if gets taked down the fight will be over.
There have been very few fighters that succesfully made the transition from K1 to MMA, Crocop is the best example, Semmy Schilt has done nothing important in his MMA career despite being a monster in K1. Choi??? NO!!!
K1 fighters are amazing in the stand up and IMO Gohkan Saki is one of the best strikers in the world, if K1 continues to exists for some more years (hopefully), I think he is a future K1 GP winner. But In MMA he would have to train a loooot of ground game. If he faces some can he would probably win, but if he fights a serious fighter then he would get submitted.
I would like to see him under special rules though, for example the ones that were used in the last fight of Alexander Emelianenko.

He's young, give him a chance. I always like it when K1 guys come into MMA, lets see if he can develop enough of a ground game to last.

Well, if they're smart they'll match him up with Manhoef.

He may very well have a decent, but underated ground game. He trains at Golden Glory, that's an MMA gym as well as a gym that produces great strikers.
Like you said, it's worked for a few guys like Crocop, and Mousasi comes from a striking background too, though Gegard was brought along more slowly. I would prefer the same for Gohkan, but the reality is, MMA is the future and it's what pays the bills. It's a long time between K-1 grand prix's.
They could match him with some lower level guys (lots of those in Strikeforce) until his TDD and ground game catch up, plus it will give him time to build up his popularity and fan base in the U.S. Or just match him up with strikers until he improves.

we don't know what his capability on the ground is yet. overeem is fantastic on the ground, and CC can more than hold his own at the pro mma level. so you get subbed by nog, big deal.
i'm eager to see what the guy can do.

And yes Saki smashed Manhoef, but you sound as if he dominated the fight...I Youtubed it and Manhoef was doing well up to when he got caught with the left high kick that rocked him in the second round...
So now I am not sure who wins in an MMA bout, smaller gloves equals more chance of punches getting through so I think anyone can take a Manhoef vs Saki MMA bout IMO
