Welterweights Dan Hardy and Anthony Johnson have verbally agreed to square off in March, MMA Fighting has learned from sources close to the fight.
The front-runner event to host the bout is Ultimate Fight Night 24 on March 30. Although not officially announced by the organization, that card is expected to take place in Seattle, Wash. The UFC is also expected to hold events on March 3 and March 19.

Win Luigi Fioravanti - TKO (Punches) UFC FN 17
| I think Rumble is in over his head with this fight. I think he's gaqssed already just hearing about the fight.

I think Hardy is gun shy after what Condit did to him. Sorry to say,but no one thought Carlos had KO power in his hands,let alone be able to knock Hardy out. Johnson on the other hand,will be looking to smash him the whole time, he wont be gun shy. Johnson takes this.

AJ will have the hardest time ever making weight. Just seeing how fat he got, he made 205ers look like MW

Plus he hasnt fought in a long time. The layoff will kill his already lacking cardio.

This should be an interesting fight. Both guys really need a win. Hardy has 2 losses in a row and got Ko'ed in his last fight. Rumble got handled by Kos and hasnt fought in a long time. Someone made interesting point about him making weight after such a long layoff.

with the cut and layoff johnson will gas. this may be a must win for hardy or he'll be with his friend paul daley in strikeforce.

Anthony Johnson better stop eating all those gumdrops if he wants to make 170. I wouldn't be surprised to see this fight ending with with a decision if Rumble lacks cardio after the first round and Hardy fights tentatively.
Both fighters need a big win.
