This means it's more and more likely that we'll see Duffee vs Overeem. I feel bad for Duffee then, Overeem is going to make that giant look like a helpless child.
Sylvia is starting to grow on me again, I was a fan when he was putting together wins after his loss to Couture, and if he becomes a legit fighter after what happened with Mercer then it will be a really great comeback story.

Last I heard, Tim was fighting Rizzo for that Powerhouse MMA promotion in February, so this one doesn't make too much sense here.

Tim Sylvia beating Abe Wagner is about as significant as a hammer smashing grapes.
I would love to see Tim back in the UFC regardless just because of how shaky the division is right now. He is still better than quite a few HW's when he is motivated. I would definitely watch Sylvia/Mir II. Another giants match would be awesome too (Struve).

I really want to see Tim back in the UFC. I think he's doing his part in getting there.

It's funny, a couple of months ago, before (and during) the Silvia/Pudz fight, we were all commenting on how out of shape, and 'past it' Sylvia was looking and how sad it was to see him reduced to fights with cans. Now everyone (myself included) has changed their tunes with the chance of Sylvia possibly (although its complete speculation) getting back into the big leagues (hopefully the UFC) if he gets another win or two under his belt.
It'd be good to see Sylvia fighting back at 265 though and looking in-shape (i say 'in shape'... Sylvia's really never been a poster boy) as correct me if i'm wrong he's been fighting at super-heavyweight or at least over 265 in his last few fights? If he can cut the weight and look a little sharper than he has his last few then there's no reason why he couldn't be a relevant gate-keeper in the UFC.

Considering that Duffee got KO'd by Mike Russow you can pretty much write Tim Sylvia's name onto Titan Fighting card in pen since I don't know how Duffee will be able to fight a month after getting decapitated by Overeem.

I like Timmy, if he could make weight, weird saying that for a 265er, I think he would be relevant in SF or the UFC. Not title contention, but still plenty of fights I would like to see.

I just wish Timmy was more fun to watch, but he just looks so uncoordinated and gangly when he fights, it bugs me so much. I have a hard time getting past that.
