The comparison is from a competition point of view. Who does Cain fight if he beats JDS? The small pond is the UFC HW Division, SF offers Cain the better fights so shouldn't he jump ship too?

Have to agree with u

after JDS, and Carwin, there isnt another legitimate contender in the UFC's HW division

BUT

although SF has guys like FEdor, Werdum, AO, Barnett, it would take forever for any matchups to come to fruition, not to mention Fedor's repeated contract negotiations and Barnett's inability to fight

plus Cain wont get the kind of contract or the marketability that the UFC is giving him now
