And I dont think either that JDS is the most dangerous HW alive lol, Fedor and Overeem would beat him for sure.
However its true that Cain and JDS are by far the 2 best HWs in UFC so this will be a great match. | Fedor and Overeem would beat him for sure? I dunno man...JDS has some serious skills.
And didn't Fedor get traingled in 69 seconds by the same guy JDS TKOd in the 1st round?
Im pretty sure that at the very least that rules out that Fedor would for sure beat him.
But as far as Overeem goes, I suppose i could agree with you on that he would for sure beat him.

Only one way to find out who is the better striker, and that's seeing these two slug it out! Can't wait!
I'd love to see JDS win this with a KO, but I think Cain has the tools to beat him based on his striking and his wrestling.
regardless.....

I think JDS is probably the better puncher but Cain is the better striker.
I don't however think that Cain should try to slug it out with JDS to prove he's the better striker. Use all your skills and try to take JDS to where he's the weakest. No point in standing in the pocket and flipping a coin to see who the champ is going to be.

If you are talking Hands then JDS is better. JDS has not used many kicks (besides the Nelson fight when he threw like 5). JDS has the hands of someone like Anderson, meaning he does not have to be the hardest puncher because he will hit the sweet spot everytime.
I think in this fight we will get to see JDS on his back some. The reports I have heard, is that if you take JDS down he gets right back up.
IMO, JDS needs to train with Anderson and Lyoto for this fight...to learn how to handle Cains speed. He also needs to get his TDD up. In the Nelson fight, JDS's TDD was good, but Cain is a different wrestler than Roy.
In the end, my status has said this for about 7 monthes now....

Cain is gonna moop the floor with JDS and its going to be violent. Here is exactly how the fight is gonna go:
They both come out circle a bit, throw a few feeling out strikes. Cain throws a leg kick here or there. Finally looks like they are gonna starting brawling and thats when Cain takes JDS down and puts him on his back. He then proceeds to beat down JDS until the ref pulls him off.
Cain via TKO 1st round. JDS is dazed and confused and "pillowfist" gets his hands raised after another 1st round TKO.

Gotta go with Masscore on this one.Maybe not on the timing, but I see that too.I think Cain gets JDS thinking trade in time to shoot in and put him on his back.Fight's a fight though, can't wait for this one.

Cain definitely isnt a better boxer then JDS but he may be a better all round striker in terms of his striking is more varied as he incorporates more kicks into his game. He may have a speed advantage on JDS and certainly has the power advantage but i still think JDS hands are the most technically sound in the heavyweight division. The advantages and disadvantages that both fighters have over each other are gona make for a very interesting fight.
I still think it would be stupid of Cain to stand with JDS, JDS won't stand still in front of him with his hands low like Big Nog did or just have the appaling stand up game of a Lesnar. He should play to his stength on this one, take JDS out of his comfort zone and take him down, wear him out and maybe finish him in the championship rounds. If he stands with him he is playing into JDS's strenght who is good enough to beat anyone on the feet. Gona be a hell of a fight, my heart says JDS but my head says Cain.

cain is facing a true striker, and if he tries to stand with him he will get ktfo. if cain wants to retain his belt, he better try to win with his wrestling.
jds by ko round 2

MMA math does not equal a victory for someone styles makes fights. Fedor fell into werdums world on the ground were as JDS knocked him out on his feet two completely different fights and two completely different outcomes. I agree with Pashak Fedor takes JDS in a stand up fight.
