| AKA Coach: "Cain Is A Better Striker Than JDS" AKA Coach: "Cain Is A Better Striker Than JDS" - BJPENN.COM - UFC NEWS - MMA NEWS Quote:
"Cain will be ready to fight anywhere the fight goes. I think Cain is a better striker than [Junior dos Santos]. But JDS has better power and is the most dangerous heavyweight alive. You can count on Cain being ready for JDS. Cain is like GSP, he will execute as soon as round one begins."
Trainer to the men over at AKA in San Jose California, Mr. Dave Camarillo has a lot of confidence in his lone champion and star pupil, Cain Velasquez. What we have seen in the past from the heavyweight champion is an iron clad chin, and improvement in his hands with every outing. Will it be enough to truly take JDS out on the feet or will the champ go back to his roots of wrestling to retain his title?
| I am so eager to see this fight! If Cain thinks he's a better striker than JDS, then prove it. |

The mystique of JDS reminds me a lot of AA before Timmy2. It will be really interesting to see what happens when a powerful aggressive guy is coming at him. Cain was very precise vs. Lesnar and just keeps improving.
Camarillo is right though about the power I think. Can't be sure though from this--- Quote:
- Cain Velasquez's punch registers at 2230 lbs of force, a harder punch than any boxer ever measured in the Sport Science lab
to put in perspective
Rampage Jackson's punch is 1800 lbs of force.
| Bloody elbow
measuring lbf is a bit misleading/not very useful, but impressive nonetheless.
Should be a crazy fight regardless. Going for Cain though.

So many questions will be answered. I firmly believe these are the two top heavyweights in the UFC so this fight is very intriguing.
I think Cain has more weapons, but I do believe JDS has the edge in power and if the fight stays standing will have an edge there, though it's a slim one. Cain's standup looks excellent thus far.
Cain will need his wrestling to win the fight, imo. I hope we see some jiu-jitsu from JDS.

Unlike when it comes to Kos I believe Dave Camarillo but he's the BJJ couch... why is he talking about striking lol? Why isn't Javier Mendez talking about his striking? Anywho, I think Cain has better KICKBOXING than JDS but mixed with his wrestling, he's especially a giant threat. I mean, even against Brock Lesnar who he didn't even NEED to take down he was just like "OK, ese. choo goeen' dowwwwnn" joking of course but it was soo at will, like Cheick Kongo and Brock is obviously no Kongo (wrestling and striking wise) lol

I dont think Cain is a better striker, from what I have seen I think JDS is a bit better.
And I dont think either that JDS is the most dangerous HW alive lol, Fedor and Overeem would beat him for sure.
However its true that Cain and JDS are by far the 2 best HWs in UFC so this will be a great match.

I think this will be easy TKO victory for Cain , he will take him down and GnP him until reff stop fight... Cain isn't stupid he won't trade punches with JDS... This is 5 round fight and Cain's cardio is amazing... There is no doubt in my mind that Cain wins this fight...
