It all depends where the fight goes, if its in stand up I see Gomi winning. If it goes to the ground Guida is going to win.
In theory Gomi should win this, but aside of Griffin, his last 3 or 4 performances were pretty bad so I dont know if he is past his prime or he just had a bad moment or what happened to him.
War Gomi!!!!

Gomi got lucky when he caught griffin. Guida has a hell of a chin and will "guida" his way to a UD in this one.

Gomi is capable of landing that KO bomb but the smart money is on Guida.

I'm obviously going for Gomi. I just hope he doesn't get out wrestled for 3 rounds... would actually crush me lol. But it could easily happen, I'm hoping Gomi connects hard and early. Guida got a rock head so its gonna be tough to stun the lil bastard. I like both fighters, i'd just kill to see Gomi continue to KO through the LW division... wishful thinking I know.

Clay Guida as always, will definately outwork Gomi, however it's not just sheer pressure that Clay needs to win this fight. Guida's got takedowns and he's got cardio out the ass, but he's got some sloppy standup and his transitions into takedowns and shots are just so telegraphed, that I think Gomi will get him on his way in and while Clay's NEVER been finished via KO, Guida has NEVER fought anybody with Gomi's raw striking power and given his forwardmarching, headdown approach, I see Gomi eventually rocking Clay hard and putting his lights OUT.
Clay can try to slam and grind Gomi good and could obviously win this fight, but his standup and takedowns are still poorly unrefined and very easily timed and I think he makes a mistake within these three rounds and eats a Gomi uppercut. With that Wildman hair in his face, coming right towards Gomi, I see him just shooting too early and eating a knee or exchanging with Gomi and eating a brutal right legkick, left hook combo for the finish.

I'm a fan of Gomi and I'd love to see him do well.
He hasn't looked great lately besides the KO of Griffin (which was awesome).
Guida's style just matches up strongly against his.
I see Guida grinding this one out unless he gets caught.

I respectfully disagree with you my good sir.

^ He sure did destroy Dos Anjos...
I like both fighters a lot. I see it that either Gomi wins it by KO, or Guida by DEC or SUB.
If Guida follows his GJ gameplan, he will win this without a doubt. And you know GJ isn't going to have Guida strike with Gomi whatsoever. Get ready to watch Gomi get outgrappled and controlled.
