man, jim miller must have shit in joe silva's wheaties or something?!
no disrespect to kamal, but his last two victories were nothing impressive. and his 1st ufc fight should not be against a fighter of miller's caliber imo.

You ever think maybe ZUFFA needs a reason to release Shalorus? He's coming off of a win, so they couldn't send him packing like Varner. If they release him on a win, then I believe ZUFFA breaches contract. Set him up to lose, so they can make their cuts. The only people that are safe are guys like Faber, Cruz, Torres, Mike Brown, Aldo, and Pettis. There are a couple that are teetering on safe (Henderson, Cerrone, Benavidez, Mendes, Korean Zombie, Garcia, Bowles), but the rest really need to stand out or they will find themselves out of the promotion.
It's just my opinion though...

It's just my opinion though... | thats actually a very good point they may have also promised jim a title shot if he takes the fight and wins or at least a fight with george s. its also his hometown too so that probably plays a role
however all the people you said are on the cusp really arent except for garcia.
mendes and benevidez are both coming off wins and are top 10 bantamweights in the world. if they are cut who are they replaced by?

It's just my opinion though... | no way man. all those guys you mentioned are pretty safe for now. why would they get rid some of the most popular people coming from WEC? they have two new UFC divisions, why get rid of some of those divisions best?

Theres a lot of great talent coming from the WEC and it would suck to see those guys get cut left and right just so the UFC can keep its roster at an adequate number
So far we have seen cuts from the 155lb division, which comes as no surprise as there is more guys fighting at that weight class than any other but I doubt the UFC will trim its FW and BW division...theres gotta b around 30 guys for each division to keep mixing up the matchups

I like this fight honestly. Kamal is a beast and so is Miller..You guy's are really cutting Kamal short here, he has a real good shot at winning this fight.

Kamal was on the verge of getting a title shot in the WEC, this fight makes perfect sense. Just because you dont know,or havent seen Kamal,doesnt mean he isnt deserving. Miller is taking a step up in competition with Shalorus, its so dangerous in the LW division atm,no fight is an easy fight. I fully expect Kamal to bring it,and take the W.

I think hes going to really bring it in this fight,Miller is a game opponent for sure,but I think Kamal will take him out.
