This is nearly identical to the second Koscheck fight only with way better jits and way less striking brought by Jake, which doesn't look all to hot for his chances. Add in about 70k plus of his screaming countrymen and I think this is a fucking ROUTE.

I really thought dan would kill shields so I definately wont count him out. In that Kampmann fight though, Jake didnt even look like he EVER trained stand up, looked so amatuer. Hopefully he can get GSP down but I see GSP watching the Kampmann fight and destroying him in the standup and battering Shields.

GSP dominates this fight just like he did against Fitch. Aint no way in hell Shields takes down GSP and he has no stand up what so ever. I'm gonna love every bit of this fight.. getting to see one of the stockton crew get totally dismantled and see of my favorite fighters clear out the division. Wanna see the Diaz Brothers' faces when they watch their boy get his ass whipped by the best in the biz.

Going off their last respective fights, GSP looked good and Shields looked so so. Honestly though I think Kampmann is more dangerous then Koscheck, and add in that Shields had a very bad weight cut, it's somewhat understandable. Right now, I think Shields is one of the best grapplers in MMA, but obviously GSP is much more well-rounded. It really all comes down to if GSP can stay off of his back, and I think GSP takes it but everyone thinking Shields will get totally blown out are really selling Shields short.
