It's expected to take place at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky., though the promotion has yet to make official the event or location. Versus airs the evening's main card.
Brown is lucky to get another fight in the UFC, and for a time, his future in the organization looked uncertain. "The Ultimate Figher 7" cast member won four of his first five UFC fights, and the lone loss came via split decision to still-undefeated Dong Hyun Kim. But he's stuck in a three-fight losing streak with submission losses to Ricardo Almeida, Chris Lytle and Brian Foster.
Scanlon, a British fighter, opened his career with a 7-0 record (with six first-round stoppages) on the U.K. fight circuit before signing with the UFC in late 2010. He made his promotional debut as a late replacement for Kenny Robertson at UFC 122 in Germany and suffered a unanimous-decision loss to Pascal Krauss.
The latest UFC on Versus 3 card now includes:
* Martin Kampmann vs. Diego Sanchez*
* C.B. Dollaway vs. Mark Munoz*
* Alexandre Ferreira vs. Rousimar Palhares*
* Maiquel Falcao vs. Alessio Sakara*
* Brian Bowles vs. Damacio Page*
* Cyrille Diabate vs. Steve Cantwell*
* Matt Brown vs. Mark Scanlon*
* Takeya Mizugaki vs. Francisco Rivera*
* - Not officially announced

I love Matt Brown's heart but his back is against the wall on this one, I hope he pulls off a dominant win this time round (even if it is over a fellow Brit). This is one mean dude, who doesn't get on well with BJJ guys I guess.
