I agree that Overreem could be fighting better competition at HW in MMA, but how many guys in MMA could stand with Overreem, he arguably has the best stand up in MMA. He has improved so much since his LHW days. I doubt he could pass a valid drug test, but as was mentioned by "U Shut UR Face", Overreem just walked through Rogers and manhandle the guy, and Rogers over powered Fedor in the first round of their fight.

Who isn't in the Guinness Book of World Records?

I remember when it used to mean something to be in that book; when the records were actually cool.

Now you've got guys in that book for 'Most peanuts in a single bowel movement'.

My guess of what the record is when I first read the heading was that he would be in for taking the most steroids ever.

19 seconds. Don't take away from Todd Duffee, he worked long and hard for that whole, strenuous 19 seconds...

Yeah, Dream is great at signing big contracts; they're just not very good at paying fighters afterward.......

Given that it's Guiness and all their freaky records, there's a great horsemeat joke somewhere in here.

Lol, I doubt the legitimacy of this article.

Firstly because [grammar Nazi alert] surely using 'man' as above suggests that the fact that he is a man is questionable, rather than that he is the first man to do so lol.

Secondly, as others have said consecutively holding three titles in combat sport is something that is done in Boxing all the time, because of the plethora of alphabet titles around.

Everybody has their ups and downs and trust me I want to see him fight some big names too! Couldnt care less if he leaves Strikeforce hanging or not tho. You're right about the drug testing, I actually think some of him ducking the defense of his belt was because he couldnt pass a legitimate drug test.

We'll always have this argument until the day he starts banging up top 5 guys as good as he crushes "cans". He does it dominating fashion, but to hold a few losses against him and take away from what he's done isnt a valid argument since everyone gets to taste defeat at some point.

We'll see how the Heavyweight GP goes and then I guess we'll debate the legitimacy of Overeem.

I thought that record was already shared by "the goat".
