So SF is having a bunch of HW title fights over the summer to make up for 1 in the past 2 years?

totally off topic...i was just in vegas and watched ufc on new years day...fukn awesome night. anyways went out next night and saw nate and nick diaz. nick waspretty cool but nate definately had the shits. anyways went back to our hotel at the mgm and i bump into nick and a few of his mates....the first thing he asks me is ive got any weed on me hahaha. i didnt which sucked but he was happy enough to take a few photos and sign some stuff and get asked stupid mma questions by my dumb mates. he was a top guy !!

I don't really see what anyone is upset about the 5/3 round issue. Just because it is called a tournament, doesn't mean it is any different than regular scheduled bouts, some for the title, some not.

its not as if the tourney is one night like the old pride gp's. this is like the bellator tourney so I really don't see the big deal with the title fights being 5 and the non being 3.

Quite an interesting concept in my opinion. It will keep me intrigued. Hopefully it all comes to fruition.

Man get Werdum and Overeem out of this....Just set them up as a title fight on their own.

Having the Heavyweight Champion in the tournament does not make sense. Not only does it devalue the belt with injuries theres no gurantee the winner of the tournament will even be the champion at the end. The 5 rounds fights are also a disadvantage why have your champion fight through extra adversity just to win a Tournament to prove hes a badass when hes allready the damn champion...

Get Tim Sylvia and Bobby Lashley to replace Werdum and Overeem. Then whoever wins gets 100k and a guranteed Title shot.
