They had a transript of the interview already. They were just following procedure anytime there is any type of threat made towards the President that threat has to be investigated. If they cast them out has aww this can't be serious this is joke etc., it could turn real. I have no problem with them interviewing him. I just find it funny that he thinks that he wouldn't be able to provide if they had health care. My buddies dad is a chiropractor and he makes fat cash, like his mom doesn't work and they live in a 700k house driving Mercede's and BMW's and i live in Canada where we have free health care.

However, if a person goes so far as to say it in an interview in front of an audience that size and operates a business that would further give him motive, I think it would only be proper to see where the individual's mind was.

How is saying you want to fight someone a threat? That's not a threat at all because it doesnt say you are going to impose your will on said person, you just challenged them was all. Saying you are going to beat someones ass or knock their teeth down their throat, that's a threat.

Sorry, but it was a total waste of taxpayer dollars to go track Volkmann down over what he said. There was no threat made.

He said he wanted to fight him and that someone needed to "Knock some sense into that idiot."

Now, would you expect a cop to knock on your door if your neighbor reported that you were abusing your children?

I would hope so.

Yessir, I would expect someone to investigate that report and I am glad they would take that seriously. However, I do not believe there was a threat ever issued by Volkmann and this is a dead issue at this point, so gonna let it die.

I do get exactly what you are saying tho Don, I really do. Just dont think it needed to be taken to the extremes as it was by the government. Has Obama had a rebuttle to this, anybody know?
