i have absolutely no interest in seeing these two fight in any sort of match whether it be boxing or mma as either way, it would be an unfair fight. rampage is like the number three light heavyweight in the world in my opinion and should focus more on getting that belt back instead of brain-damaged boxers just trying to get their names out there.

You know, I think it would be a little different if Toney was getting into some serious shape but he showed up to the Couture fight in very poor shape and got wrecked. If Toney is serious about MMA, then he needs to get in with Strikeforce or and smaller promotion to feed him some punching bags to whomp on. I think even Herschel Walker would wear Toney out... but would be more of an even fight than Couture, Rampage, Brock, or whoever else he was calling out.

Keep perpetuating the myth that somehow these boxers have this mysterious KO power once they put on smaller gloves. Page is in better shape, MUCH better cardio, better movement and the BETTER MMA FIGHTER. Jesus H. Christ you always talk about boxing. No one gives a shit about boxing. This is MMA. It will never be a "boxing match". Never. Page is the better MMA fighter and would fucking ruin James Toney. Toney isnt even a good boxer anymore. For fucks sake.

2. More impotantly why do you think knock out power is even required for Toney to best Page in striking?

Yes Toney isn't the boxer he used to be but he is still leaps and bounds a better boxer than Rampage. Like it or not the fight starts out on the feet. If you want to ignore that aspect of MMA thats on you.

I agree. It would be kind of funny to see Toney get slapped around by Rampage on TMZ or something but I have no interest in seeing this on a card. Even if it were on a Fight Night card it would still burn a few months for Rampage. I would pick Rampage on the ground or the feet in this one. The only way Toney would even have a chance would be under total boxing rules, which would suck anyway.
