I can only assume Coker has stuck some pretty serious contract changes under the contestants' noses, because if he hasn't, and the tourney doesn't go as planned (because AO takes off to do K1, Fedor to do Sambo or something - not to mention Barnett's licensing problem) then Strikeforce's credibility as a big player would be seriously, if not irreparably damaged.

yeah, it's very interesting. well, we have about a month to find out as the first two quarterfinal bouts are on feb 12th, and then the other two quarterfinal bouts are not until march or april (which is kind of a bummer). a lot can happen between now and then.

i am with fedorlei. as stoked as i am for this tourney, i really wish it was set up more like the pride mw grand prix. i am still puzzled why the brackets are set up the way they are. coker should have spread the talent out better.

maybe they promised fedor/werdum or fedor/AO or werdum AO and any of theese 3 together vise versa maybe its a contract thing designed by M1 who knows but if were all smart enough to relaize how fuckin dumb this is im sure they would
