| How I Believe The StrikeForce Tournament Will Play Out.
So guys I think it's an interesting debate..The way I see it is this..Of course we will never know until it happens.
Quarterfinal's
AO/Werdum..I dont see AO getting caught again and ending this quickly on the feet..
Barnett/Rogers..Josh is gunna cripple rogers into a young grave
Arlovski/Kharitonov..kinda the biggest toss up for me but ima say Kharitonov MURDERS Arlovski
Fedor/Bigfoot..Fedor all day not much else to say...
Semifinal's
IMO for the Farce to make most of this for the Finals they are gunna want Fedor vs AO.. that being Said theese should be the Semi's
AO/Kharitonov..If you want AO in the finals wich I think they do Give him the striker. and makes for a good Trilogy
Fedor/Barnett We get the fight that never happend and folded Affliction, and I think fedor has the better shot at barnett the AO does considering he is more well rounded..
So now we have our Final
AO/Fedor... I have no clue but just for the sake of giggles AO by devestating Knee KO
Anyways thats how i see this tournament playing out how do you guy's see it?

I actually see it playing out:
Coker fucks up and half the bouts don't get promoted.
Barnett fails to get licensed in CA, and Rogers wins by default.
Fedor beats Bigfoot, but it goes into the second round, spawning legions of Fedor haters to talk about how he's overrated and sucks.
Overeem decides to fight Brad Imes for the all-new Sinister Fighting System HW belt in Singapore, but is surprised to find they require Olympic-calibre drug testing before the bout. Shockingly, on the way to the testing station, he comes down with intestinal failure and bows out of the card. Imes wins by default, and Coker still doesn't strip AO of the SF HW belt.
Werdum gives a great interview about how he's looking forward to facing Fedor.
Arlovski returns to form as the shaggy, unshaven aggressor he used to be. Kharitonov knocks him out anyway.
Semi's
Kharitonov beats Rogers in a wonderful slugfest, marred only by the voiceover of SF announcers.
Coker calls the rest of the tourney off for undisclosed reasons.

it better not be a flying knee cause Fedor's got that shit on lock down.
It's a cool thread, it's just hard to know what they'll do with the semis until we at least see the first two quarterfinal match ups. And to be honest, however it's set up, I feel it's gonna be Fedor and AO in the finals regardless of how they do the match ups. unelss they get them to meet in the semis but I seriously doubt they would do that.
Also, I have a feeling Barnett is going to be a huge disapointment in this tourny, and AA is going to do better then expected.
EDIT
made me laugh rh

To be honest I think we will have some disagreable surprises (Barnett not getting his license, some injury etc.) but lets imagine thata everything goes OK
Fedor vs BigFoot: Fedor wins by Submission in the first round
Overeem vs Werdum: Overeem by TKO in 1st round
Kharitonov vs Arlovksy: Kharitonov by KO in 2nd round
Barnett vs Rogers: Barnett by Desicion
Semifinals:
Fedor vs Overeem: Fedor by Submission in 3rd round
Barnett vs Kharitonov: Barnett by Desicion
Final:
Fedor vs Barnett: Fedor by TKO in 1st Round
FEDOR CHAMPION OF THE GP AND ALSO NEW STRIKEFORCE CHAMP
And after he is champion haters will still find some stupidness to say.

I'm gonna say that Fedor gets upset in his first fight...
Fedor Emelianenko (32-2) vs. Antonio Silva (15-2) - Bigfoot by decision
Andrei Arlovski (15-8) vs. Sergei Kharitonov (16-4) - Arlovski nearly gets KOd in the first, but Sergei gets tired by the end of the first and Arlovski by decision
Replacement fight - Shane Del Rosario (10-0) vs. Lavar Johnson (15-3) - Del Rosario by first round TKO or submission
Barnett (26-5) vs Rogers (11-2) - Barnett submission first round
Overeem (34-11-1) vs Werdum (14-4-1) - Overeem by first round TKO
-----
Next up Barnett vs Arlovski - Barnett first round submission
Overeem vs Bigfoot Silva - Overeem first round TKO
----
Barnett vs Overeem - Overeem gets DQd for either knee to the head of a grounded opponent or biting of headbutting.
-----------
Barnett becomes champ...first title defense is Fedor and Fedor KOs Barnett to get the belt back....then Overeem fights Barnett...Overeem wins....Fedor decides he wants to fight Del Rosario....Overeem moves to the UFC....Fedor vacates the title...then Daniel Cormier gets the belt.

im calling it now.
fedor will not win.
no, he isnt going to lose to big foot, or AO. or anyone else for that matter.
the FARCE is strong with this tournament. and i see fedor not winning due to the "explained" but still yet unexplained contract that coker apparently doesnt understand.
fedor will beat bigfoot. then due to a clause in the contract he be required to renegotiate his contract in which time AO, who beat werdum will get bored and go fight over seas and coker will announce werdum vs bigfoot 2 (yes the 2 that lost) will now fight in the finals due to barnett winning his semifinal match but then getting popped for steriods again. the world will laugh and and dana will talk shit and people will be pissed off at him but ultimately agree that coker fucked up what could of been strikefarces biggest year to date......AGAIN.

rh | Just to let you all know, just because CSAC suspended him in Cali doesnt mean he cant get licensed anywhere else. Since this is in New Jersey, he should have no problem getting a license with a clean urine sample that he "supposedly" already provided to Sacramento last month.
