When does everyone think that fighters like Forrest Griffin, Mike Swick, Chris Leben and Brandon Vera deserve title shots and how do you think they will fair?

i think if leben beats silva he proves he deserves title shot because for him to beat silva will be a hell of a task and should make everyone respect him as a fighter - swick needs a few more fights plus i think has to fight leben again before he gets shot since leben is his only lose - vera needs a few more fights - griffin probably two more big named fights and should be ready - diego needs to actually beat someone since he lost to alessio i dont care what score cards say

They'll get title shots when they deserve it (alright maybe not Quarry!), but I think the first will be Leban as there's not much competition in the MW division.

How did Sanchez lose to Alessio?

Leben-If he beats Silva
Swick- If Leben loses they should set up Swick vs Leben for the next UFN
Vera- Really Talented, I think he should fight Monson or Mir
Griffin- He should have a rematch with Bonnar and then when he wins he should fight Ken Shamrock or have a rematch with Tito
Sanchez- He should fight Karo Parysian and then the loser of GSP vs Hughes and then he gets his shot

I would love for them to set up a Heavyweight Tournament to find out the #1 contender after UFC 61. Since the heavyweight bracket is obviously the weakest, it would give the division some hype. If Vera won the tournament that's when he should get the shot.

As far as everyone else I think it should be a while. I'd love if the UFC came up with a format so that there were a lot of hyped #1 contender matches.

The only reason everyone thinks the heavyweight bracket is weak now is because AA lost to silvia. we would be talking about how sick the division is if AA had won. Vera should fight mir or monson then get a title shot
