I couldn't agree more, if people want to argue about the way mma is judged then let them. But under the current MMA and UFC rules Rampage won the fight as he won the first two rounds.

I think its ridiculous that i've read that Rashad killed him on this forum, it was a tentative performance to say the least, and if it had went to "championship rounds" we may have seen a K.O.

Also, i do think that Rua could beat Rampage, however, under UFC rules (aka no soccer kicks) you never know. If Rampage continues to come in like he did against Machida, (with a hunger) he'll be a massive test for anyone.

But i do agree with maybe jones no.1 contender

Look at the fights coming up where people could be pushed up to a title fight.

Jones v Bader
Lyoto v Randy
Rich v Forrest
Page v Silva

The winners of these can (with the hype machine) fight for the strap

And I still dont think Shogun will get passed Evans...I see Rashad out wrestling Shogun and winning a UD.

Not with ya on some off your choices. Jones and Bader would make a good fight of it. I think it would be wise to give them one more fight for matureity.
Randy keep him out of it plain and simple.
Rich yes Forest no needs to overcome some bad loss's.
Page he'll sell the fight. Silva will need the hype machine for help.
Last but least I totally agree Evans will draw this out into a wrestling match and work for points. His head had swelled after the Chuck / Forest fights he should be floating on earth now after the knock out. Hope Evans doesn't win though good fighter just don't care to see him as the champ.

I would be very interested in a rematch between Page and Rashad now that Page will have a couple fights back under his belt and has supposedly been training heavily. I count on him coming out to kill Thiago Silva in their match and if he does, i'd rather see him fight the loser of the Shogun/Rashad fight for now instead of getting another titleshot so soon... which hopefully will be Rashad.

I think Rampage/Rashad 2 would go differently. Rampage nearly KO'd Rashad with a clipping punch in their first fight and had the opportunity for the kill. Rampage/Shogun isn't something I want to see yet unless Rampage had at least 2 more high profile wins (that including Thiago).
