| Yushin Okami should get his title shot
I think Yushin would have a good chance against Silva. Yushin's stand up is better than Sonnens, and Sonnen rocked Silva a few times. Yushin's wrestling though would put Silva in trouble. I think he could win it, but Belfort might beat Silva. I think the secret is Silva's game has declined and nobody knows it but Blackhouse...Belfort just might knock him out. These issues should be cleared up before a GSP fight.

i think anderson got rocked by sonnen becuz he simply did not expect that of all things to happen...i mean really, what are the odds of that?
belfort on the other hand is well known to have outstanding stand up, okami as well so theres no comparison imo.

He'll probably want to do it right, use a nutritionist and a strength & conditioning coach to bulk up. So, barring injury or a loss to Belfort, Silva should have plenty of time to defend against Okami before a super fight with GSP.

Okami will get his shot, but he's probably 3rd in line now, though I think GSP will want to wait just a bit more to properly get to the 185lb weight limit. So I am guessing Yushin will be next after Vitor.

So I am guessing Yushin will be next after Vitor. | Vitor has fan support--at least by people who know what they're talking about--because he's achieved more in the UFC than Okami, and they understand that the catchweight bout with Franklin was a bout that Belfort wanted at MW, and dana did as a favor to Rich. The bout favored Franklin, and Belfort beat him anyway.

Okami could beat Silva. Hell, I'd pick him to win. Thats why that fight won't happen before a GSP/Silva Superfight. Okami is too much of a challenge to the belt.

It's that desire to see David v Goliath that makes Georges St Pierre and Anderson Silva such an attractive matchup...
| Not a great metaphor in this case, given that there wouldn't be that much of a size discrepancy, and that lots of people (most?) would take GSP in that fight.
