Sorry folks, Joey got robbed by the favorite, Barry.
I love Pat. I've spoken to him about 3 times before the fight (once with him and Pettis) but darn it, the guy has no killer instinct and besides that outside low kick has no other move! his hands are very off (aside from the Cro Cop fight where Cro Cop REFUSED TO MOVE HIS HEAD)

I mean I think at this point, Mitrione ANNIHILATES him with his movement and it annoyed me that Pat wasn't even FIRING that kick when he should've just kept on chopping away at Joey Beltran's! For a brawler he did amazing!

Also, do NOT agree with the seperation aainst the cage. Beltran was working a LOT more than Couture does who hugs people for 3 minutes +

talk about incosistency in MMA judging and ref-ing

I think Barry won rounds 2 and 3.

And Beltran should stop whining, maybe overall he landed more strikes, but Barry did the most important damage.

His legs look OK now but look at Beltran at the end of the 3rd round LOL

Joey Beltran looked 100% after the fight, INCLUDING HIS LEG. Barry's face was severly bruised and swollen

personally i thought Beltran won the fight but I assumed the judges were going to give it to Barry and fuck I need to get blood like him cause even wearing pads I get bruises on my legs from getting kicked. I fucking bruise like a peach and he can get brutalized and nothing!!! im jealous and now im glad he lost

Def Beltran took the 1st round

2nd round was close, with both guys having an even exchange, though Beltran was the one initiating most of the exchanges and winning the clinch against the cage. Barry started with the kicks with 2 min left in the round but its not like he was throwing them every 5-10 sec. It was like one every 30 sec and Beltran did have combos and knees in the final 10sec to nab the round IMO.

3rd round was close but def Beltran was having his way with Barry against the cage, throwing uppercuts to Barry's face and body shots and cutting open Barry. I believe once he got poked, you could tell he couldnt see all that well as he took some kicks, though he caught 1-2 of Barry's kicks as well.

It was def a great fight but I had Beltran 2 rounds to 1 and prob would have gotten the 3rd had he not get poked. It was a good fight, both guys scrapped, was more exciting than Silva's defense against Leites, Maia or Randy/Vera, CC/Mir, Okami/Nate, etc

Pat won the fight. Period. Beltran was in way more trouble, more than once, and collapsing at the end of the fuckin match because yer leg has been blasted to hell is not exactly proof that he didn't get 'hurt'.

I don't give a shit what people say about what the announcers said, or who the favorite was, at the end of the night Pat beat the dogshit out of Beltran. Anyone that actually paid attention to the fight would've noticed Beltran wanted no part of the exchanges after Pat blasted him a few times, and his lil Jardine-like flurry of punches wasn't goin to be enough to justify a win.

in what physical universe did Pat beat the "shit" out of ANYONE? All he landed the entire fight was ONE move, the outside low kick. look at the stats I posted INCLUDING SIG STRIKES, Beltran's face was fine, his LEG WAS FINE as evident by the pic he posted on the UG...half of Pat's face was swollen bruised and battered...so much for "I don't give a shit about announcers and favorites" :haha:

Its cool Kid, cuz we all know stats show exactly who won 110% of the time. Oh wait, no they don't. We've seen countless fights where the stats don't accurately portray what happened in a match, so cling to the shit all ya want. Oh, and bruises, no bruises, Beltran was scared as fuck of gettin tagged by that 'ONE' strike of Pat's, and he collapsed like a bitch at the end of the fight. I suppose that was just him lookin to take a nap cuz he was bored? Maybe he was stretching? Lawlz. GJ tho.
