First off,the ref should of stopped the fight in the third. Beltran fell down against the cage,in pain, he could no longer support himself on his leg,should of been stopped. And it happened a few times, so dont argue that it was just one kick. It doesnt matter how his leg looks now, at the time of the fight, he was walking funny,and even when the third round ended he fell. That weighs heavily on the judges minds, and rightfuly so.

But, Barry shouldnt have went for the mount in the third, he should of just stood up, and kept landing that leg kick. Also, he should of been throwing it alittle more often, in the last 30 seconds, might have ended the fight.

If anything, I would of called this fight a draw. Beltran winning the first two rounds, but then getting a 10-8 in the third due to him falling over so many times.

I agree with you except for the 10-8 stuff.
3rd round was clearly for Barry but it was not that dominant either, I even remember that in the first 2 minutes of that round Beltran was doing better.

And I dont agree with people that say Beltran was not damaged. Maybe he is OK now but at the fight its more than obvious that his legs were extremely sored. If that fight was a 5 round fight he would not have survived the 4th round.

I don't get how someone could give the fight to Beltran; yes he out-landed Barry, but that gets negated when a guy get's knocked down twice in a fight, the 2nd time the fight would have been stopped if the fight didn't end. Forrest Griffin outlanded Anderson Silva in their fight too...

Beltran landed some uppercuts on Barry, pretty decent looking ones, but other then leave welts on his face he didn't get hurt too badly. Barry had Beltran close to finished twice in the fight. Anyone who would give the fight to Beltran, I'm glad they aren't judges. Scoring short uppercuts and foot stomps over knock downs is crazy.
